Change driver's name in championship season?

Hi everyone.
Now my silly question is: is it possible to change driver's name during a championship season?

Unfortunately I don't think so, I once tried this 2 years ago. And it didn't work for me.

Maybe with different perf files in GPxPatch. Never tested but should worth a try.

You can change it in perf file, it works... but the new driver's name will replace the previous one in the championship results (the game doesn't add a new on).

For some reason tit doesn't work.
Using a perf file changes everything but the names...

Weird. Not sure but I think your pref file must have the same name as your track (ie : performance_trackname.txt or so)

You have to use track-specific season sets.

This means in season set file:

...
EnableTrackSpecific=1
CarSet01=Track01.set
CarSet02=Track02.set
CarSet03=Track03.set
...
CarSet17=Track17.set

in Track01.set:
...
[Performance]
Enable=1
Path=gpxpdata\..\Performance01.TXT
...

in Track02.set:
...
[Performance]
Enable=1
Path=gpxpdata\..\Performance02.TXT
...

not sure but: better store "Track01-17.set" in gpxpatch-directory too!
