carshape and Adelaide (solved)

Hi guys.
I have this problem: in Adelaide (i have a 1994 version) every carshape i use makes the game CTD: it is enough to follow a CC, or a contact...
Anyone has this problem too? I have it only with this specific track.
Any solution (apart from using the original 98 carshape...)?
Thanks.
Claudio

some jam got corrupt? You could try to run it without loading the jams by renaming the jam folder.

Thanks Holemad.
But if i use the original carshape, the track is ok.
But i'll test and let you know.
Bye

Ok.
It is not a jam file of the folder "adelaide" that makes the track crash.
And i have the problem only if I use a carshape different from the original.
I can't understand.

I ALWAYS had this problem with EVERY version of Adelaide. Try changing the S1 and S2 sectors in TrackEditor, worked for me

Thanks ipswich2007, do you mean Split1 and Split2?

(Nespresso, of course...) ;)

Using Zieli's update for 1.13 I have no problems.. GPxPatch set to Debug mode and low verbosity.. (drove 3 laps in non-champ.mode and accelerated time to the last 2 laps without any issues)

I'm using Zieli's Update too.
The problem is when i chase a CC and use a 1985 carshap (or 1986, 1987, 1988... no one...).
If i use the original carshape i have no problem.
So why i thought it could be a carshape related issue.
Thanks anyway Shlund.

Ok, i have changed the Split1 and Split2 and now the track works well with the 1985 carshape.
Had a quick race, chasing the CCs, hitting them, having a complete spun...no problem.
Before those were all causign a CTD.
I can't understand why, but it seems to work.
So for the moment for me the problem is solved.
Thanks to ipswich2007 for the trick and to everyone for the effort.
Bye

weird, indeed. I've never had a ctd.
Can you say into what value you've changed it?
In my old adelaide i found 0 and 0 and that works fine aswell.

Sorry for not getting back to you quicker savinaclaudio but I'm glad it worked, yes the Split1 and Split2 was what I was talking about.

It was something I've found makes Belini tracks run smoother on 1.13 so I thought I've tried EVERYTHING else with Adelaide I'll try this - not really expecting any results.

And BLAM it worked!

Hehe, very strange.
