Playing gp3 without a keyboard

Hello everyone.

i was wondering if anyone knows what other devices i can use to play gp3, which enables me to vary the amount i press each key (like a joystick), instead of pressing buttons, and having to dab on the accelerator to control wheel spin.

do you think an xbox 360 controller would work?

I reckon it would be worth a shot

I´m using a Xboxcontroller "Logitech Rumblepad2" (left stick=steering / right stick throttle-brake)

is there a way to get the xbox controllers to work with the same controls as they do on normal xbox games? Like using the variable triggers at the back of the pad as accelerate and brake?

Ah, yes but i already know someone who i can borrow an xbox controller from and if that works, then I am looking to spend no money

I tried a PS3 controller once, everything worked except I couldn't get the L2/R2 triggers to map properly, instead of L2 brake and R2 go. It would map the other way around :@

to control pc-games with all kind of controllers use "XPadder", the best tool you can get to change mappings..

i use an xbox controller, together with JoytoKey.....fully programmable software
