GPxPatch 4.21 [released]

GPxPatch 4.21 has been released, including fixes for extended tracks in GP3.

I have tested every belini (original) circuit and layout (e.g. monaco 1996-2002, 2003-2010 etc) and can confirm after removing far sight commands they all work on 1.13 :D Thanks Rene, legend

Ok, this was purely a file size limitation then, all the other limitations were the same in GP3-2000 as in GP3 (and GP4).

confirmation : had a few laps on monaco and montreal (both full and reduced) without any problems

Brilliant stuff SDI. Thank you for coming back to GpXPatch after all these years. Especially the timing tower in the new GPxSAT. I didnt think that would be possible.

One suggestion/wish. Would it be possible to add an option to disable the name of the driver appearing in GPxSAT when switching drivers without enabling the GPx sky message. I do alot of watching races and switching between cars and the name appearing each time gets in the way.

I noticed that the Track map (key 8) was in small size and tried to adjust it in GPxSat ini to 256 x 256 but no result... Is it only me or....??

Apart from that I think it is a awesome work there has been done to the GPxPatch by SDI...

#Holeman/SDI - would this mean that we now can use all the Belini GP32k circuits for GP3 1.13 using the patch 4.21...? That would be great indeed, first circuit that comes to my mind was Monaco ...

@shlund - yes you can use them all, as I already said above :P

also to resize the track map there is an option below

argh the freezing skid hit me again on another track. i made some manouvres like granny trying to parking to allign the car to the fence til it freezed. i need to understand if it is related to skid in general or maybe some 'overload' of skidding in the same place

@shlund : yes!! we can have all the belini fully detailed tracks in 1.13.
About monaco : so far, i was trying to update last years track with some better scenery and textures, but suffering with swivel arms makes me think to start indeed with belini monaco.
Give me some time to update that belini track. For Montreal, i had a nice updated reduced track, but that will be the HD-version too.

Yep, TrackMapWidth and TrackMapHeight are deprecated, you can remove them. The texture will always be square, but the track will be drawn with the correct aspect ratio.

Hi all!

When i want to play bellini track with gp3 1.13 with new GPXpatch when i click to race i have a message: "Wrong file type"

What i did wrong?

For those who want to use the national flags by TheDarkListener in GPxPatch 4.21, I've converted the 128x64 images to .tga and uploaded them here.

Set the maximum track length to 10 km in the GPxTrack tab.

Thanks for quick answer, idid, but now crash to desktop

did you set the debug mode? it's still mandatory for belini tracks

bts SDI, only now i noticed the new trackmap and its function. really loving it, just Thanks!
