Caruaru Track

I have just sent this track to GP3 Cart and Other Tracks section.

This is a very, very alfa version of Caruaru, Brazil, track.

The track is located in northeast of Brazil.

This is a conversion from Antonio Pessoa's GP2 track.

The track is driveable, but has a lot of problems: the pitlane entry and exit is not ok, and there are many graphics errors, and there is no trackside object. Sorry, I can't do these things because I'm not a good track maker. (I'm not a track maker at all).

I hope somebody improve this track shortly.

Thanks for converting our track. If someone else with more GP3 track editing experience doesn't fix the track, we'll see if I can be of any help.

I've just checked your convertion. The fences are too high becouse there's no fence extension in GP2, so we need to make it high and use transparencies to make catch fences and other effects. The ccline and/or track width didn't translate very well as I don't remember the ccline going so much into the kerbs and the ccline doesn't connect correctly at the end of the line.

The pit layout may need to be changed for GP3. Again, the straight with connecting fences points being so close to the pit in/out was becouse of GP2 limitations when you don't want white lines around the track.

This Caruaru track for GP2 seems be great. Congratulations.

I agree your considerations but, unfortunatelly, I have no talent to fix those problems.

I think a helping hand is always welcome... Nice to see cooperation between GP2 and GP3....

Actually, I'm shame about this very alpha version, but I don't know how to insert jams and other graphics.

I shared this track intending to find help from others, in order to improve the work.

you wanted it and you put the hands on it. before there wasn't any caruaru, now there is a driveable caruaru. you started something, that deserves respect, be happy

I cleaned the alpha track to make it run with no debug mode. Also added the generic jams of the toolkit in a own folder. now it's possible to go on easily
also provided a base magicdata. Thank Degas for starting it and the Gp2 authors for the original track

Hi friends !!!!


I downloaded the file (caruruaru.rar) and I noticed when I entered the box there is no pitbox.

The track is pretty simple but it worked well. I say this with respect to graphics. No advertising boards or other objects.

But still it's a good start for those who had absolutely nothing.

I would like to thank everyone involved and doing GP3 still stay alive.

Now is better than before, but the track and cc line needs to be improved ... it seems to be a high speed track and the way it is, it is very slow...
