Hi all !!!

I need help to these two problems.

I have done download of this track here: [www.grandprixgames.org]

Image 1 and 2: The CC-Line goes to over the grass...

Image 1

Image 2

Image 3 and 4: At the main straight the "cc-line" that is on the left goes to the middle of the track and then back to the left side ... This causes the car to make this movement too....

How to fix these two problems ???

It's the same problem with most conversions.... The track width has to be adjusted for GP3 - I do not know how to do it, but perhaps some kind Modder knows about it... ;-) :-)

I would have said to these problems that the cars in the Gp3 2k shickane image 1 and 2 almost always end in hours and sometimes up to a crash barrier on!
A shame because I really like Enna Pergusa!

Good to hear that about Enna. It will be very useful for my F3000 1989 megapatch I am working on now.

Hi all !!!!

I am very happy to see that everyone is interested in having these repaired tracks.

By I realized our friend Dirk has much knowledge to do these repairs and he has always placed the arrangement.

I'm waiting for the repair of these tracks so that all get right.

I would suggest, if it were possible, he could show us and teach how to make these repairs.

It would be a good opportunity to learn from the mistakes especially when we have a teacher who can teach us. what do you think ?

Regards

There are already two trackMasters that made a tutorial on how to build a track. One of them is Roberto Scandura (tutorial here) and the other one is Addie Walti (his site here)
Those are good, instructive readings, but very massive to be honest.

Hi friends !!!!

After hours reading and trying to teach myself, I found something that I would like to share with those who would like to learn a little about the reported problem.

About the problem ( Image 3 and 4 )

At the main straight the "cc-line" that is on the left goes to the middle of the track and then back to the left side ... This causes the car to make this movement too....

taking advantage of some tips and pretending to be Sherlock Holmes.... I am a poor man who know nothig about editing tracks...

- It's the same problem with most conversions.... said our friend Shlund... and cc-line is fixed said holemad...

I open the track and realize that it is missing the last part of CC-LINE....

my suspicions were right....

After I get the same track at [www.grandprix2.de] ( Original GP2 Track )

I open the two tracks and saw at the last line "CC-LINE DATA" [46] len=61 rad=0 is missing.... I insert it, and this problem was resolved... at least I learn how to fix....

Now I will teach yoiu step by step what I did....

You will need the following tools: ( GP3 Track Editor 2.2.0.804, GP2 Track Editor 1.9.1, CMagic 1.50 )

1 - Open the track with Track Editor 2.2.0.804
2 - Go to second Tool Bar ( this bar began with "zoom tool, hand tool, pointer tool...... ) click "CC-LINE"
3 - On "Tree Track", click on + Pergusa, + CC Line Data (46 )
4 - One click on the last item [45 ) - select it...
5 - Click with the right button of the mouse in the working area..... this area is the right side of the screen... where is the track map...
6 - Selecting from the menu ‘Insert cc-line section"
7 - refreshed the screen with F5
8 - the tree wil be close.... open again click on + CC Line Data (47 )............... LOOK 47 NOW, BEFORE WAS 46..... WOW....
9 - go to the last item now.... 46..... it was 45..... WOW....
10 - two clicks and it will be open.... change the value of LENGTH.... 10 is default... put 61 now.... here I was the copy of the sema value of GP2 TRACK... try to put and test..... change and test...
11 - click OK ( F5 refresh.... same thing... ) look now Len=61 rad=0
12 - Save track as.... ready.... not yet...

When we save the track we lost Magic data.... insert the Magic Data and all is Okay !!!!

here is the track fix by me: Track Fix

It is my first fix in life.... I'm waiting for the Trackmasters new and definitive solutions ... and of course good improvements .... and if you can teach us, even better ...

Evandro, nice to see you're searching for a solution yourself. (Y)
but your fix only affects the behaviour at sf.
For the issues in image 1 & 2 you'll need some more optimizing.

Hi all !!!!

I know this was a solution was in fact based on what already existed and not created by myself.

to make the corrections described in picture 1 and 2 certainly will be need more knowledge and I'm still far from reaching them ...

I demonstrated with this example what I've been looking for a long time. Besides pointing out the problems, describing step by step how it was done to fix the problem.

Now I'm sure all the tracks that have been converted from GP2 to GP3 who have this same problem will be easily corrected by these explanations.

with this the Trackmasters will have more time to perform and not be overwhelmed ....

Here is my humble suggestion and to cooperate with all of you.

It is a very cool game to play and has a lot of cool and engaged people who make this game alive.

I keep on waiting like the rest of definitive solutions and improvements for these tracks, and if possible, teach us how it was done ....

Like this music by Freddie Mercury - Queen.... I want it all.... I want "learn" it all... and I want it now (Y)

I did not upload the fixed .dat file to download section because it is a very "beta" fix.... let´s wait for a complete soluction.... okay ???

i have not acces to my work station right now, but i'll try to explain.
-open the dat with the trackeditor
-make cc-line visible
-open the tree with the cc-line data
-click on a sector and it will light up (I)
- i worked on cc sector 26,32,36,43,44...i may have forgotten one
and i only changed radius and length by double-clicking on it
- and added a new sector at the end with a length of 52 or 53

be carefull!!! what you see in the editor is not what you get on track !
Start with the lowest sector, do the adjustment and do a testdrive
continue until you're happy....

I don't have the knwoledge either but with a little bit of trial and error, i got a fine result :-)
just give it a try

Sorry, I saw it after send this message.... clicking here and there....

but your tip confirmed.... I was following the right way...

it would be better if the CC-Line just follow the map ...

It is very tiring ...
