Las Vegas Speedway CC Car Setup Problem

Greetings all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with CC car set up for Las Vegas Speedway.
I've notice a problem with the Las Vegas Speedway CC car set-up.
I've used the CC car set-up utillity to check what the CC cars should be set at and set my car up accordingly. Yet, I seem to be 2 seconds a lap faster than everyone else. Now, much as I would like to say it was down to my expert driving (Yeah! Right!), I've ridden on board with one of the CC cars and they are running slow on the straights (at least 10mph slower than me).
I've extracted the Magic Data and and it's the same as what the CC car set-up util says.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

J

You need to change the CC setup in the MD file, editing some values, for example:
- front and rear wing
- gear ratio
- cc power factor
- cc grip factor
Usually on super speedway you can use front and rear wing set to 1, and set the gear ratio you need.
Post the MD file and i'll have a look.
Bye.

If you use the same CC setup, try to increase the CC grip Factor value, even to about 11.000.
The CC usual problem with ovals is that they don't have enough speed into corners: so they have good speed on straights and are much slower than you in corners.
I like racing on ovals very much, and in most of that kind of track i had to increase the CC grip Factor, both in very short (like Milwaukee) and in superspeedway.
I don't have Las Vegas Speedway, if you send it to me at
savinaclaudio@libero.it
i can have a look, and set a MD.
Let me know, even by email.
