That's interesting; I find it harder to spot the apex when using T-cam, but I agree about spotting gaps, and find the primary benefit of using T-cam is having a better idea of when the back-end is about to go.
(Which is quite useful when doing silly things through 130r during a race!)

And, while a non-issue in hotlap events, the cockpit obviously gives a better view in the mirrors.
(Although I believe there is an option in f1graphics.cfg for changing the viewing angle?)

And great job on the video BP, love the introductions you do for 'em.

Yes you can adjust mirror angle but only in, out & magnification via this setting in cfg
But you could not angle them upwards as far as I know

2 ; Angle left mirror 0(in)-16(parallel)-32(out) v2
2 ; Angle right mirror 0(in)-16(parallel)-32(out) v2
16 ; Magnify mirror (16 => normal <16 wide >16 zoom)

As far as which is easier I guess it could be down to each person.
Best way is to test your time on a track for a few laps with each.
In my case I was definitely faster by a good amount in T-cam
I could definitely set up corners & clip apex's at high speeds better
in T-cam

GP4CC Hotlap #4 - Bathurst

Some of you guessed it - Hotlap #4 is at ToJepo's epic incarnation of Mount Panorama at Bathurst, Australia.

I have timed our event to coincide with this year's running of the real thing - the V8 Supercar Championship's Bathurst 1000 on 12-October. I really recommend watching it, even if you're not into touring cars(?!). It's an amazing motorsport event.

Good luck all!

Hi Stefano

Yes I always have it at 1hour 30 min

But like I said I can view mine,Dougs & Vimals no problem

Yours crashes at 1:03 final downhill turn

Tom crashes at 30 seconds in first uphill section before first time section

Montys is the most odd as it is shown in Directors mode like a nice movie playback style & makes it all the way to 1:24 before heading into the field to crash

The other odd thing is unless you 3 ran these as your 1st hotlap of your session the micro timer does not show any previous laps?
Mine, Dougs & Vimals all show a previous lap time in the micro timer. Seems odd & tells me something is off

I know my game/hotlap settings are right as I have submitted 2 or 3 laps & all accepted fine.

Are you saying you can view all the 6 replays no problems?

Thanks for any info

ok flying, for me is exactly the opposite, I have no problem with sumermonty, mine and tom laps, and crash near second split for yours, doug and vimal laps.

Just seen in hofxlapw, there is a difference in the first line between mine and your lap

GP4 1.02 Hotlap for track 2: Bathurst (for supermonty, me and tom)
GP4 1.02 Hotlap for track 2: Mount Panorama (for you, doug and vimal)

Which wad do you used? High or low res? Could be that the problem?

Ok well thanks for seeing that.
I did not think it would be possible to have 3 bad & 3 good so I thought
something must be odd.

Maybe Tom put up one track then changed downloads?

Anyway thank you for finding that & we will see what he says tomorrow probably.

Thanks again

Random question..

How would I install the 2014 laptop mod used in this championship.

Not sure if its CSM or overwrite core root files in gp4 folder

The laptop mods from GP4 Central are modded versions of the original game in their entirety.

Think of them as 'portable' versions if that makes it clearer; Everything you need to play it is in the file you download.

No copy/pasting of files necessary or anything like that; Just download, extract, and play.

I might just be really stupid at this, but I seem to be struggling when it comes to loading up the laptop version 2014 mod.

I also can not seem to install and load replays in game
