[W.i.P.] The 2010 Helmet Pack by DaiMOn - [Last Update: 12 August on P9]

Posted by DaiMOn
As you could figure it out I'm going to create a 2010 Helmet Set as well, but this one will be a bit different compared to the 09 or 08 sets... So here's a few things you might need to know.... :)

In this year the helmet set won't just consist of the new textures. Two different shapes, the Schuberth RF1 and the Bell HP3 will be included as well. Both of them will be as compatible as possible with the mapping of Maikel's (MDBSnake) fantastic ARAI GP5 shape. So hopefully we could use the same textures with every shape in the future. The set will be officially released for rF as well...

As for the textures they will be based on their Melbourne state. In the pack you will find textures for the primary test driver too. Maybe I'm going to paint special designs later, but it depends on my time.

And here we go... my time... Unfortunately I don't have to much nowadays because of the uni and other things, so the only thing I can guarantee that it will be released until July. I know it's a long time, but please be patient and don't keep asking every week for news. If I have something to show I'll post it. :)

Last but not least here is a checklist for the helmets of the set. (I'm gonna make a spotter guide later like last year.)
(BUT, HAM, PAF, MSC, ROS, HEI, VET, WEB, HAR, MAS, ALO, FIS, BAR, HUL, BOT, KUB, PET, TUN, SUT, LIU, DRS, BUE, ALG, RIC, TRU, KOV, FAU, SEN, CHA, ???, DLR, KOB, ???, GLO, DGR, SOU) :P

looks really good shape. I hope its not too high poly, and good luck with the mapping. It's always nice to have some variety in helmet shapes.

Thank you guys. I tried to map the model the same way as MDBSnake's ARAI helmet, so my 2009 textures are working with it. They doesn't fit perfectly but they are compatible at least. :)

Some renders again:
