grand prix 4 and vista 64 bit

hey guys...
i know there are already some threads about this theme, but
i can't get much information out of it...

i've got a new computer and grand prix 4 isn't running...
i installed only the gpx-patch and i don't use CSM.
but, every time i start gp4 over the gpx.exe the screen
stays black...

can you help me??

my system:
CPU: QuadCore Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, 2400 MHz
Mainboard: Asus Striker Extreme
RAM: 4gm ddr 2 ram
and ATI radeon HD 3870...
64bit vista ultimate

Install the official GP4 patch 9.6 and run gp4.exe in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode..
Works perfectly that way, and I've got all the way the same system except the GFX..
