Is anybody playing here GP4 with Vista 64 bit, is this working properly together with GP4? Is there any impromevement with Dual core CPUs or GP4 just support Single core?

single cpu only, set cpu to 0 in gpx_patch, disable hyperthreading, set gp4.exe to run in win98 compatibility, run as administrator.

Didn't you read my earlier post? FYI, I have dual core and Vista 32 bit, and GP4 runs like a dream. Gpx_patch is set to single cpu. GP4 or rFactor? Get both.

Hey sorry to be OT but now that you are talking some technical stuff, if I have a video card that runs with 305 watts does a 350 watts power supply work or should I geta a 450 or 500.

No I have not tried it, it is just a known fact that it does not work, why don't you try it for yourself, see what happens.

No, also incorrect. GP4 was made back when computers only had one cpu. It does not like dual cpu's, or hyperthreading. Therefore, you must use gpx_patch to disable one cpu. It also helps to run GP4 in Win98 compatibility mode.
