Original uncrypted GP4.exe !!!

Hey Y'all.. Recently thought about playing my GP4 again, and looked into this community to see what is new to offer.. So many things!!!!

I would like to start with the new 91 season.. and want to install the official patch v9.6 and then etc etc..

Anyway, to get to the point, my original CD has gone walkies to who knows where!?? I have an install on my com still with only a 'non-updated' decrypted gp4.exe ... so when i try and install the patch I get the error message "Grand Prix 4 is not installed on this machine"

I believe a copy an original gp4.exe will sort me out.. no?? And if that's the case, where can i get one? Believe me, I've been searching high and low through the web with no luck.

ANy help will be much appreciated..

I'm facing the same problem but I can't find the information needed about the gp4.exe in the GP4FAQ sticky I think I'm blind :D

search in the system registry of your machine if exists this lines below:

I have some of the lines in my registry, but still struggling because of the patch. I need a clean gp4.exe for the moment. Somebody knows where to get it?

this gp4.exe of gp4db.com is for version 1.2 (patch v9.6).
he wants the .exe for v1.0

Actually I was asking for an UNCRYPTED v1.0 GP4.exe file

Isn't decrypted same as uncrypted? Anyway, if you mean the original exe from the game CD, here it is: [rapidshare.com].

he actually means ENcrypted, not DE or UNcrypted
