Kart Simulation (56K Warning!!)

I am currently lead 3D artist for a kart simulation and have so far made the karts and tracks. I have no problem in texturing the environments and the karts but when it comes down to painting I am not the best if you know what I mean I was wondering if there were anyone who would like to paint 5 karts for me? WOW that looks amazing, great work, love the deatail in the framework and things.

Thanks mate:D Im pissed off with unwrapping of the nose cone. Its a bit distorted lol. The Kart took me 2 days to model and to unwrap the pods and nassa panel. But its taken me a whole day to try and unwrap the nose cone and it still doesnt work lol.

Kart's model looks great and has many details.
But I wonder, what program did you used for modelling and unwrapping ?
I do believe 3DS would do a great job here because with your actual nose texture template, it's obvious texture will be very stretched on top part.
And where is the left pod template ?

Anyway, I could make the texture for you if you want but I would need the 3D mesh to be able to check the result in order to have a work of quality.

how do u guys become karters?

It started with laping great times with cheap location karts just for fun and then we bought real karts... so now we are at our first year on the tracks learning the mechanic and everything
what a feeling going from 0-100 km/h in 3 secs!!!

I used to race a 125cc Jnr Rotax Max as well



Raced karts for three years going from cadets to TKM and then Max. Out of the lot I prefered the Max it was so much kinder when you were working on the jetting :p also you just pressed a button to fire it up Now I race the things in my sig due to money reasons
