hi

well i got the ive not had the game long about a 4 or 5 days and im wanting to upgrade the game so its all up to date so could some1 post all the newest downloads what have come out for the game please?

ect: graphics/cras/tracks/ and so on.

oh and i use the key bored and i was just wondering if i can chnage the controls so i can use W = accelarate/ S = brake/ a = turn left/ d = turn right instead of the defaults

a = accelarate
z = brake
</, =left and
./> = right.

It will tell you in the manual how to remap the keys, but for updating GP4 heres a guide i compiled to help people

ok thank you..but when i tryed to redo em and i tryed doing the s and a or d it was it said they was already in use and i cant find a way to chnage them the s was in use by ctrl-s

oh and 1 more thing when i have dled the new files were do i unzip them?

sry for post but i need to know incase i do something what will make it go wrong and not work..should i put everything into the folder

my computer/c:drive/programfiles/infogames/grand prix 4?? or is there a folder inside there i put them in?

Have you read the GP4FAQ, check the sticky topics at the top of the message list. The directory structure you have posted is correct. You are better off using a steering wheel instead of struggling with keys, much easier and also more realistic Welocme to the forums.

the one i dont understand most is like in the read me files

4. Replace the file barcelona2001.wad from the zip into your main GP4 directory.
5. Replace the file S1CT05.dat from the zip into your ..\Grand Prix

were it says in the guild if you installed the carsetmanager/easywas util correctly all your wad files will look like red & blue squares with EW written on them, and mine have that blue thing
