GPxPatch 4.44 [Released]

Another feature request from me :)

In GPxSet, is it possible to read the "base" performance and tyre ini files first, and then overlay the track-specific ones? This way the track-specific files only need the changes to the base, not the whole file.

E.g. for Bahrain 2016 it would be nice if I could just have a performance file that contains only Stoffel Vandoorne's performance values, and nothing else, because the rest has been read from the base file. It would make maintaining mods so much easier.

The tyre ini files are already separate. As for the performance data, this could prove tricky but you can add a feature request to the issue tracker for that.

I experimented with this in the past, and you don't need the full performance file for Bahrain, just the McLaren team and I think some of the tyre data but I can't remember if it is colour or wheel type that is required.

It's a false warning from a heuristic check. The file is fine.

I have a simple question . As far as I know , the F1 is the standard logo of the gpxpatch and in the F1 CSM MOD that I have installed it works well . In the DTM MOD , I have set the Gpxinfo and the DTM logo also works well . However , both logos appear ingame and the only solution I found to solve the problem was delete the F1 logo in the gpxdata .
Please what do I have to do to have both logos working well in the respective MOD but not at the same time as in the image below .

I have tried on two separate occassions to download GPxPatch 4.44 but I keep getting the following:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

Anyone else getting high PO with GPxPatch? I can run GP4 fine without GPxPatch but when I use it, I get high PO when the car leaves the pits. I tried the usual stuff, running as admin., and changing compatibility but I don't think
it is a Windows 10 issue and the game does not crash so no log.

@seanmikeuk: it works fine here, so it must be something on your end? Can you temporarily disable the anti-virus software?

@Jet: you can play with several settings to see if it makes a difference: debug mode on/off (and with debug mode Log file verbosity low/high), Use CPU 0/All, Enabled extensions on/off.

On April 07, 2016 i commented:
Is their a posibility to have an option to be able to choose freely to start with hard tyres before entering a race instead of soft tyres?

Its been 21 days and i didnt get answer.

@SDI: I tried downloadinf the 444 on my tablet and get a virus alert. I tried downloading 443 and that was downloaded with no problems.

I haven't made any changes to my setup between downloads so it has to be something to do the actual 444 file.

Yes, somehow 4.44 triggers a warning, but it's really not infected. It's based on some heuristic pattern that appears in 4.44 by coincidence.

If you have a feature request, you can add it to the issue tracker. I don't know if this feature is possible without first spending time on it.

@SDI: Ok, I found out the high PO is due to one of the extensions I am using, the 2015 HUD. It's weird because when I had Windows 7, there was no problem. Thanks.

Does this HUD use a lot of images? In 4.40 I've added a radial fill option, which can be used to have only one image for the HUD's dynamic part. That can greatly increase the performance.

Yes, it contains a lot of images (over 280 *.TGA files). It's the 2015 Rev. meter display.
