René, I have a question about the pit closed.tga and pit.tga. It seems that in all circumstances the pit closed. tga is being shown and never the pit.tga. Is this the way it works? I tested it with the original unmodified gp4 v1.02 with the newest version of GPxPatch. Thanks.

I'm not using some kind of pitboard ini file. I'm talking about the pit closed and pit tga files which comes with the installation of GPxPatch and can be found in the gfx folder.

@Turbo Lover: I see that indeed the "Pit closed" does not work somehow. It should be shown when your car does not have the pit light on, and your teammate does. But it doesn't seem to work.

i made a race with vanilla GP4 and looks like without compatibility game got more FPS. I hope the same will happen for mods. Thanks.
I'm curiouos how "Torque" will work. I guess no more edits on magic data with this new parameter.

The torque works the same as in GP4 Torque Editor, but the torque curve is patched in memory instead of in the exe.

Anyone got the problem when using in combination with CSM that only the trackfiles will be loaded and the other files not? I reverted to GPxPatch 4.43 and now the other files (cars, performances, teamarts etc) are loaded too.

Awesome to see this cult program still being updated!

You sir are probably one of the most, if the not the most important person(s) to why the game is still being played and updated! Without GPX i doubt any of the games would have survived for this long!

Thanks for all the work u have put in sofar over so many years! =)

Now, can u make GP32k run smoothly on Win 10? =P (without having to install xp on a seperate drive hehe)

Is it right that the pit.tga (the yellow one) must be shown shortly after a car passes the s/f line after a hotlap and in the race before the car enters the pits for a pit stop?

Hello Guys!

Even after many years, GpxPatch is still a mystery to me...maybe someone could help me with some questions I have?

1. What is the difference between the car performance options? Wich is better or more realistic for closer racing between player and AI?
2. Are the 'old' performance files still valid in these update? I've seen you guys talking about a performance level of 500 to be the ideal, and my performance files (for CSM mod) are about 16000
