Wasn't it Max Mosley who said things like traction control, ABS etc on road cars made them safer. But on F1 cars just made them go faster. Which is why he didn't want them in F1.by MarcLister - F1
Hmm so McLaren and Ferrari because of their stature allowed to encrypt radio transmissions? I know that pit to car setup changes were banned; wasn't aware that encrypted radio was banned to faciliate this. And just found this on the BBC Sport site. Some BBC journo asksa Mika Hakkinen if he agrees with F1's cost cutting measures.by MarcLister - F1

Cheers gav and bruninho. Nice to know what it means. Wouldn't have thought it was about tyre changes in pit stops. Otherwise it would surely mention pit stops. Mechanically purging tyres seems to be quite a fancy description of just prepping a tyre up!by MarcLister - F1
Don't really understand this "mechanical purging of tyres" thing. What is it and why ban it?by MarcLister - F1

Got most of my files etc on a seperate disk so that isn't a problem. ATT installs but won't run because it needs to be installed on a low level administrators account or whatever rubbish that means. Its not like my account is an Adminstrator account! Oh wait it is!by MarcLister - Off-Topic
Hmm. I tried to install ATT without realising it didn't exactly support Vista x64. Now when I run the ATI driver installation it tells me the CCC is installed. Can't see it and it most definitely doesn't run on startup as it used to.by MarcLister - Off-Topic
Can you paste the results of running "dxdiag" from the Start>Run?by MarcLister - Off-Topic
If you will link to images online expect people to link to them as well. If they do and you don't want them to ASK them not to. Don't DEMAND it like you are the god of the Internet. Vader still holds this position I'll remind you to remember. Closing this thread now as I'm very fed up with red5's constant abuse of the post reporting system. I know what you mean. Had to use something like that on an old PC. Was hell getting the bloody pins in. Even more so getting the sodding pins off. :D In the end a mate and I had to practically force the heatsink off.by MarcLister - Off-Topic
