Put my name down. One thing: it's stealing, not steeling . I haven't done much but I had helmets distributed without knowing... I didn't care to be honest but it was a small amount of work. The main thing is original modders have a look at this thread but I think it's safe to assume those who have left years ago won't care enough. And if they ever saw their work theyby Guimengo - Grand Prix 4

I remember in the 2nd or 3rd year of w300 and the main series where I talked to some people regarding getting that working in rFactor, converting the car and textures we had made for GP4 already. Unfortunately only one person at the time actually looked into it and he did convert the Gp4 car but since he didn't know much else he just left at that, never sharing the car (which was fine sinceby Guimengo - Other Games
Height only affects so much. When I was 8 I played goalie with the 13-14 year olds, though I was tall for an 8 year old (1.91m today ). Goalkeepers need to want to be goalies, it doesn't work if a kid is always put on goal because they're too tall or just have poor footwork. What matters is positioning, reflex, quickness, and jumping ability.by Guimengo - Off-Topic
My favorite aspect of the game is passing . I appreciate how difficult it is to do some of the dribbling moves we've seen from Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, C.Ronaldo, Robinho, Neymar, Jesus Navas (in practice for Spain during WC 2010, worth a check on youtube!), etc, but the simple beauty from how Zico played, and how Messi plays (he's the new Zico hands down) just highlights what's trulyby Guimengo - Off-Topic
A lot of it has to do with winning lower, non-professional championships to build prestige and reputation. It is very rare to find a kid who can make a difference in the whole team just with his talent, and at that age those who are taller and stronger usually have an advantage as their teams will play a defensive minded game, or counter-attack, or something that doesn't require much of keepby Guimengo - Off-Topic
Stoner stated his reason for leaving are background things, which must mean politics. I don't know if it's within his team or MotoGP in general, but while his absence may be overcome I hope it sheds some light on the bigger issue - if there is one.by Guimengo - Other Motorsports
Gav nailed it, Chet. Brazil has had issues with physical strength ahead of talent in the children/youth levels thanks to an awful group of coaches that keep being recycled by teams regardless of how rubbish they are. Our mentality is still offensive/skill based but coaches somehow enjoy having 2-3 defensive midfielders. Regarding Schweine, he and Sneijder were the best players in the 2010 WC.by Guimengo - Off-Topic

I still hope for Holland going on to playoffs, Germany needs to win and so does Holland, by 3 goals. Then if van Bommel doesn't play anymore, and maybe de Jong or Willems are replaced, all the better. Hate those dirty players .by Guimengo - Off-Topic

Cheers, N00b! :p I told him that to me, evolution is mutation that works better with the environment. @gav: Yesterday I had a great very long conversation with a friend (who studied psychology at uni and is getting his masters on it) and his major argument for not excluding anything from being true - bar religious fanatism and certain specific points about religions - was exactly what you just wrote there. I wonder how many years will take until our very respected theories are regarded the same way we regard certain things from the 1500-1700s, where we may have a reasonable base but so much done around them is just way off. I do agree with the Big Bang theory but I believe it was a reaction from something else. Whether it has to do with dark matter or dark energy, there's just no way somethingby Guimengo - Off-Topic
