I installed it on my mum's really old laptop yesterday - vista, with a 1.63ghz Core Duo and 2gb RAM - it was like having a new laptop. I don't know how they've done it, but it runs nearly as fast as 7 runs on my computer, which is much newer. It used to take literally 5 minutes to boot up and log in, and now it's like a third of that. Plus - and this is a good sign for Micrby senninho - Off-Topic
I haven't been blown away by the consumer preview, but it isn't bad - this price really does tip the balance, though.by senninho - Off-Topic
One thread for video requests isn't a bad idea, but IMHO any of Schumacher's front-of-the-grid laps from '96 are pretty epic. If you search on YouTube for 'Argentina GP - 1996', one of the results shows the end of his lap, with him basically turning out of the last corner on the throttle.by senninho - F1
Apparently he has a 'bad cold', and they aren't too worried about him at the moment. However, they have said a decision will be made before FP1, with Gutierrez as the backup.by senninho - F1
From all the accounts I've read, he really did just let the revs drop too low at the hairpin - he may have been in third gear, for example, having distracted himself. Cars at this point didn't have any form of anti-stall, as Alain Prost proved in 1993by senninho - F1

A cookie is awarded to Damn for solving the mystery That's a good point about the cameras too - when you compare it to the mid 90s, the on-board shots are much less varied these days.by senninho - F1

You know, that's a really good point - I was sure that the regs state the number should be placed on the nose.by senninho - F1

Vettel has won three races in a row, which is only really a minor blip in what has otherwise been one of the most open seasons in years.by senninho - F1

A good example of Schumacher's ability to press on, but your choice of video is a bit poor in that it also shows - at 5:34 - the flipside of his style...by senninho - F1

I read today that Button had saved his tyres to the point of having a four lap advantage over Vettel, and two over Hamilton. Had the safety car not intervened and turned it into a straight fight, McLaren reckon they had a distinct tyre advantage. I'm not sure Button had the pace to come back at Hamilton, but it looks likely that he could have had some crucial time in his pocket over Vetteby senninho - F1

From the horse's mouth, as it were: QuoteAutosport So, be honest, what's next after London? "Maybe add another wheel and an engine," he laughs. "Indy has long been a dream, and after the Lausitz run I know I can do it. Jimmy offered me a car for 2013 if I won gold in London. If we do it, I think we will reunite the dream team from the 90s. It kind of makes sense if you look further forward than just next year - perhaps he knows something we don't about Mercedes' 2014 engine, or McLaren's plans? Perhaps Schumacher retiring will leave Mercedes with more of a wallet score than McLaren currently have? Of course, the most likely answer is Gav's - it is most likely a stunt designed to scare McLaren into improving tby senninho - F1

That is a very interesting stat - I'm much more a fan of Jenson than Lewis, but I would've still suspected Lewis to be well ahead on total points.by senninho - F1

Interestingly (for us), the hand cycling takes place at Brands Hatch - the official London 2012 site says about half of the track will be used. Oh, and Zanardi continues to be awesome - he has dropped a not-so-subtle hint that he'd like a shot at the Indy 500 after this...by senninho - F1
