Personally, I love Imola, but I doubt we'll see it on the calendar again.by senninho - F1
Judging by the video in my post above, which I've only just realised was broken (), I'd say there is not even room for tyres. A SAFER barrier should fit, but I'm not actually sure if any current tracks use it.by senninho - F1
Here's some footage: If it happens, I don't think we'll be seeing full-speed entries into the Peraltada again - note the complete absence of run-off.by senninho - F1

Jeez, I hope they've shaved the bumps down - can you imagine the complaining?by senninho - F1
It's not the worst choice for them - Raikkonen, I've read, has finished every single race since his comeback, and Alonso is Alonso. Ferrari2007 is right about them likely raking in the points, and I think next year might show what a useful wingman Webber proved to be for Vettel. Ricciardo seems pretty good, but would he be able to act as rear gunner for Vettel against Alo and Rai?by senninho - F1
Oh gawd, apparently Eddie Jordan has tipped Kimi for Ferrari. I know it's Eddie Jordan, but: - Schumacher returning - Schumacher retiring - Hamilton to Mercedes ...by senninho - F1
Probably worth bearing in mind that Bild is quite prone to... let's call it 'tabloid' reporting. I've found that the various F1 journos on Twitter are quite reliable with their rumour service, and they're saying nothing at the moment.by senninho - F1
I think I'm the only person who seems to like the new sound. The major caveat for that video is that the sound was taken from the dyno room, where they have a hefty device to extract the exhaust gases. I can't see how this wouldn't effect the sound. It's also quite refreshing, if you didn't notice, to see Mercedes actively participating in the comments thread on that vby senninho - F1
Is it me, or is the FW12 a very odd choice for a car representative of the 80s?by senninho - Other Games

As rumoured quite a while ago, but it has now been confirmed that he will join their new LMP1 programme: "It's an honour for me to join Porsche at its return to the top category in Le Mans and in the sports car World Endurance Championship and be part of the team," said Webber. I've actually been re-learning German for the last half an hour, using Duolingo. So far, I've remembered that I really do not like Sauerkraut, but Erdinger Dunkel is a great study aidby senninho - Off-Topic

Yeah, I can see your point there. I am far too young to have seen them at a track, but I do wonder if the turbo engines did sound distinct from one another.by senninho - F1

Does anyone know of any free streams that will be showing quali and the race? They've been showing practice on racecontrol.indycar.com, but said to someone in a tweet that quali and the race aren't going to be streamed.by senninho - Other Motorsports

It's been a fairly solid rumour for at least a couple of weeks, but Honda are to return to F1 in 2015, as a 'joint project' with McLaren. The greener technology is being given as the main reason for their change of heart. Jenson is reported to be pretty happy, and I guess he will likely be reunited with some of the people he previously worked with. No comment from Marlboro, butby senninho - F1
Yes. I think he struggled to understand the tyres, and Rosberg was too close for comfort.by senninho - F1

On a sort-of related note, Pippa Mann has secured a drive with Dale Coyne Racing for the Indy 500. She has been involved with Glass Hammer Racing, which is a US-based organisation dedicated to helping younger women into motorsport. Vettel seems to have really meant it when he said he was sorry. In interviews today, he has said that he still would've passed Webber if he hadn't misunderstood the order - he was 'looking for what it meant' on the wheel display - and that he doesn't think Webber deserved the win. He also hinted that Mark not helping 'the team' (i.e. him) in the past played aby senninho - F1

Damon does seem to have inherited a small amount of his father's legendary wit. There was a good exchange after the Australian GP. Mostly paraphrased, because I deleted the show after watching: Lazenby: (meh joke about Martin's fancy shoes) Damon: What about my cagoule, I think it's pretty smart Martin: Yeah, it looks like a fan has marked you with their pen Damon: Well I havby senninho - F1
