Hi Guys, Ive seen a couple of guys doing gp4 careers and races on Youtube and they seem to have an autosave feature that saves every lap or at some point without them having to do it manually (exit race - save game - reload race). How is this done? I am looking for this as i get random CTDs and this would be a handy feature when it happens. Also looking how this is done through dosbox anby torana_05 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks guys for the hard work, appreciate it. This may be a silly question, but when i put the file into the performance folder i cannot force the game to run it. As i said i drop it in the performance folder, set gpxpatch to run it and then run said performance file through csm, but i still get track specific performance. Ideas? Thanksby torana_05 - Grand Prix 4
From what i remember, RCR distances can be set within the gp2lap config file as well as paul hoads car shape editor. I have a feeling it was more in the gp2lap config. Regarding the fps i do not think one exists unfortunatelyby torana_05 - Other Games
Absolutely love it!!!. Fantastic work. I love the old monza, especially on gp2. Please tell me you have a period correct lesmo 2 Great workby torana_05 - Grand Prix 4
I am trying to use the old failure editor just for some fun. I have installed it and i am requested to enter a free registration code. As this site does not exist anymore it is impossible to get past this step. Can anybody help me? Thanksby torana_05 - Grand Prix 4
I am still waiting for the site update with the results of the new banner competition results to be realeased from 2007/8? if i remeber correctly hahaha I have no experience or idea of how discourse works, so i do trust others with more experience to make the right decisions for the communityby torana_05 - Grand Prix 4

I figured out the control calibration driven box fixed the problem. After trying it for a while I've noticed the steering is really, really sensitive and the car tends to wander around the track with very little or no steering input. Did you come across this problem as well? Thanksby torana_05 - Other Games
Amazing! Can't wait to give it a go. Thanksby torana_05 - Other Games

Hi, Thanks for the response. I am going to give it another crack at the weekend. I can't wait to try out gp2 and Indianapolis 500 with a wheel. I really enjoyed Ted Meats gp2 season and GPLaps Indy 500. It's great to see the resurgence of all my childhood games and appreciating them in other ways.by torana_05 - Other Games
Hahah sorry about this, just trying to get it in my head. You have a dosbox in the gp2 folder? and then you point the dosbox app to run the conf within the gp2 folder? I never thought of running it this way, sounds alout easier than mounting the dir everytime. Could you send me the conf files, as i still have the issue with the pedals which i cannot seem to fix. Thanksby torana_05 - Other Games
How is your issue zifox, have you managed to solve the oscillating problem? I am using Dosbox ECE and cannot seem to get gp2 to recognise my pedals, I have the steering, which at the moment is not oscillating. I think I read somewhere that this may be solved by making timed=true. not sure.by torana_05 - Other Games
Huuuuge bump on the thread but does anyone know what happened to this game. It randomly just came into my head the other day after watching Ted meats gp2 and gp4 videos on YouTube. Amazingly the link for the demo still works but this game seems to be lost into obscurity. Was the full version ever released? And can it be downloaded? I'm going to give the demo a try on the weekend and see if mby torana_05 - Other Games
iirc there was a 2003 or 2004 standalone mod by gp4italia that had a qualifying system where you had to 'wait for your turn' qualifying system. The drawback was that you had to know prior to qualifying where your driver qualified in the real race of that year. if you missed your slot then you couldn't qualify. Maybe it was all just a dream but I am sure it was realby torana_05 - Grand Prix 4
Jeez Fragata Track Manager, what a blast from the past. I have not had any luck with Fragatas Track Manager for years. I think the last os i had it running well was in windows 2000 maybe xp but definitely not any newer. It just doesnt seem to run. Regarding the installing of the tracks. I install them into the gamejams folder with their correct folder name and extract the contents of the zip theby torana_05 - Other Games
Love the blog fongu. For me Mclaren had a decent showing this weekend. Lando impressed as you said. If sainz didn't clip verstappen and made the pass he would have been in a great position. But then again a mechanical failure kept him out of the results. But he did show signs of promise.by torana_05 - F1

I love 90s F1 cars especially pre 94 ones. I think by the time we got to mid 2000s they all started be to very jumbled with aero licks here and there. i didn't mind the 2010-2013 each cars was a little different and could be recognisable from each other. From the front (excluding halo) the 2019 cars do look proportionate (see renault launch pic)but the length of a modern f1 car is reallby torana_05 - Grand Prix 4
Never said retired, just wont race in f1 in 2019, lol. Sad but we knew all that this was going to happen. Will the Mclaren Indy project really go ahead? i remember Mclaren saying that they were fully committed to f1 and getting back up to the top was their priority, so that means if a indycar project was started it would just prove to everyone that their priority was just Alonso not the team. After all the bad luck i hope Bottas get the win. Although i would like Vettel to score high as well so we have a fight for the championship. Great qualy by rogro as well really surprised by the haas. Anyones game if the bad weather shows up the midfield is soo close. fingers crossed for mclaren to get double pointsby torana_05 - F1
With all the mutterings on how Liberty Media want to change the direction of the sport in 2021 I am interested with what everyone thinks. I do agree on some of the proposals like the turbo engine with a MGU-K, but also feel it should be opened up to normally aspirated engines as well, to encourage smaller builders to be included. The pay structure is a no brainer in my opinion. I also think thby torana_05 - F1

Hi there i went to Monza in 2012. It was awesome. Great atmosphere with all the ferrari fans. Ive went to the Australian Grand Prix in10,11,12,13 as well and always found that Friday or Saturday was the best to go, you got to see the cars for 2 sessions, while Sunday there was a lot of sitting around with nothing on the track. I bought my tickets from either f1.com or and Australian site (cant rby torana_05 - F1
