i see webber in a damon hill mould, not brilliant, but very solid and reliable. given a good car i dont see why he couldnt string together a number of good finishes and become champion.
raikkonen, yeah i can see it.
button....dont know, raikkonen and alonso will be pretty competitive.
massa, unlikely for reasons given above
heidfeld, unlikely.
klien? again, unlikely. he'll probably

F1 reckon barrichello was passed by a turtle on the back straight...
horrifically slow.
the mclarens look to have some issues with the rear of the car, watch out for those in the race, especially as the tyres wear down. if it rains those cars will be dogs.

F1 your batsmen need to stand up to mgrath tho, show him who's boss or he'll walk all over you.

Off-Topic nice to watch this thread from the start, you guys getting all excited, now suddenly we're (aussies) coming back. sorry, we were just going a bit easy on you...seriously, must be an awful batting wicket! :D

Off-Topic wowl they really dont take these press releases seriously do they!
i think its fantastic personally, this team rule. they're like jordan before jordan went crap. still a lack of semi-clad red bull grid girls tho...cmon!...

F1 first of all mini maestro, we've had 4 winners. you forgot fisichella in melbourne :P
i think mclaren are obviously the team to beat. ever since imola they've had the best car by far, but the worst luck. they seem to be getting on top of their issues now, and provided they make no more stupid errors like they have done, they'll do very well. montoya will have very high motivatio

F1 think williams need to concentrate on getting an engine for next year before selling up...
its getting later and later for them to sign for a new engine supply, so i suspect that they'll continue with a customer bmw engine for 2006 before seeing what else is available from other manufacturers, and yes, this could include hyundai.

F1 not surprised really. think they were always gonna sign up. they're too new to f1 and dont wanna ruffle the feathers too much. much like red bull racing.

F1 meh, i dont see the problem. its not as if schumacher got past, so in effect, you missed nothing. that said, in australia, we got to see the laps so... :P

F1 i like the shirts actually. bit of a shock to see them at first but they've grown on me. that said, painting the cars like this would be a mistake. i dont think it would translate well.

as for the manchester utd shirt, it was on special and i like the colours. besides, the occasional game is quite good to watch. relaxing. :P

Off-Topic meh, in australia we dont even get to see qualifying. i dont think theres much wrong with the 1 lap format either, but instead of cars starting in reverse order of finishing from the last race as we currently have, just make it championship dependent.
easy.

that would be acknowledging that they made a mistake tho :P

F1 the 2nd one is the best of the two, but i'd like to see the old 60minute session, but have the cars set a timed lap every 15 minutes so we'd have ontrack action all the way through. allow refuelling, tyre changes etc. then bring back the sunday warmup. :D
seems simple enough to me...

F1 its logical that kimi would be fuelled heavier to account for his 10 place grid penalty.
montoya will be heavy as well i think. heavier than the guys ahead probably, but i doubt as much as kimi as that'd be stupid for mclaren, he wouldnt qualify near the front and the two guys ahead of him would skip away on their lighter fuel loads (like france). that said, kimi managed it pefectly in f

F1 ive been a mclaren fan since the hakkinen days when he crashed at adelaide. naturally i still follow the team and raikkonen happens to drive for them. besides, in the interest of f1, i'd like to see that 24 point gap begin to decrease soon. hopefully schumacher can do quite well in this race as well. im beginning to respect him more and more...maybe coz he isnt winning all the time! :D

F1 would prefer anyone to win except alonso. preferably kimi, but with that engine failure....thats two grand prix's we've been robbed of a race. spose kimi will have the same strategy he ran in france. maybe button and/or montoya can leapfrog alonso at the start and hold things up a bit.
