F1 Now that this has sunk in, I did think there was something strange about his body language, facial expression and general demeanour on the podium last week. I've just re-watched it and in hindsight it's there, plain as day, he's finished. He's done. He wasn't celebrating much and he seemed more relieved than he was happy. This is also why he gave a long rambling answer as

F1 I can't see Lewis staying too long to be honest.
Sometimes he just looks like he doesn't give a @#$%&.

F1 My beef wasn't with what Hamilton did - that's racing. But there were some petulant comments afterwards.
He was more graceful here:

F1 I agree, he should be made to use it. Like a big #1as the official number and a smaller 44 if he wants

F1 No German grand prix, but there are already rumours that Imola could be replacing it.
I really hope this is true, I love Imola but I haven't really connected with the Hock' since it was neutered by Tilke. I think Germany should use the Nurburgring instead, it's a much better circuit.
With all that money floating about you'd think the government, or Mercedes, or VW would

F1 I don't think the tyres are any worse than they used to be honestly.
Just look at races like Suzuka 1994, Australia 1989, Brazil 2004 and more recently the Nurburgring in 2007.
I think it's just modern drivers expect more from them.

F1 Ron Dennis leaves McLaren.
Ridiculous decision, one which will soon be regretted. I hate to say it but I think we just witnessed the death of McLaren.

F1 My favourite wet race was Australia 1989. Dangerous, but manic. A race of attrition which rewarded those who kept their focus.
Can't remember who won honestly :P

Larger tyres will lead to increased aquaplaning, won't it?
It's bollocks, you're right. If you crash, you lose. That's how it always was.

F1 I fear more of the same in the coming years now that a US company owns F1.

F1 This is bollocks.
When will people learn that heavy rain didn't kill Bianchi. An open cockpit didn't kill Bianchi.
It was a tractor that killed Bianchi. We have sorted this out.
Why can't we go racing?

F1 I imagine as previously suggested that it is down to the fact that he has won four titles with relative ease (sorry but they were relatively easy) and he seems to have this air of entitlement to him because of that. The way he speaks about fellow drivers, particularly about blue flags, is way too aggressive.
With Max, it's simple. Vettel sees someone coming up the ranks who is younger t

F1 I have criticised him in the past and I have thought that some of his on-track antics have been marginal, to say the least. However, I agree with everything he said here - there was no penalty for Hamilton, there was no penalty for Seb for squeezing Ricciardo. There is no consistency. Furthermore, Seb is out of order, he's behaving like an idiot and taking how inept Ferrari is right now o

F1 There shouldn't be any penalty for contact where no damage was caused. I mean, there was slight damage, but that's racing.
We need to lose this "no contact whatsoever" mentality, it's preventing us from seeing moves like that more often.
Arnoux and Villeneuve would have been banned for life.

F1 @#$%& halo. The only incidents it would have had any effect on in the sport in the last ten years that I can remember is Massa's spring-to-face incident in Hungary - and how often does THAT happen?
If I hear one more person telling me it could have saved Bianchi I will throw them in the @#$%& sea.
The aeroscreen looked much better to me. If we have to have anything, I would have

F1 I'll be honest, I will watch Channel 4's coverage for the small number of races they get given each year. I usually stream the rest from Sky. But other than Brundle who is just about keeping his head when everyone around him is losing theirs, without major intervention the quality of the Sky coverage is going to be woeful.
If they have any foresight whatsoever they will pick up DC
