Got the car sound stuff down. How do I apply the custom car set mods to a custom track set created in TSM?

Grand Prix 4 Cannot locate a data/sounds folder(?). In fact, I'm not seeing how to open and explore any CSM mod files(?).

Grand Prix 4 Thanks for the quick reply, Tom. I have figured out how to run these other season/car sets with CSM but how does one get the TSM to work with these other carsets, i.e. to build/assign a different track set to the mod?

Grand Prix 4 I have began using the 1993 Mod download from GP4Central and have two questions; 1st, there is the rather large semi-transparent "standings" box that appears showing all 22 cars with the split times and lap speeds. How does that get turned off? 2nd, I prefer the sounds from the original game and is there a way to input that into the mods? Thanks

Grand Prix 4 Through upgrades in my hardware, graphics card, ect, I have endeavored to maximize the graphic display in my GP4 simulator setup as newer high performance monitors have become affordable. I have been able to set all the custom graphics settings to "all" or high with 50-60 FPS. However, the resolution settings in the game want to max out at 1024X728. When I choose a higher setting, ie 16

Grand Prix 4 I have installed GP4 using the orig DVD along with the 9.6 patch and no CD v1.02. Utilizing a fairly new vVidea GX1030 video card, I set all the graphics to high settings and 30 fps. I get the "white" no graphics images on the rear and bottom of the cars. When I copied the whole GP4 with these updates off of gp4central and run it with the same graphics settings it works just fine. Canno

Grand Prix 4 My issue turned out to be nothing to do with GPxPatch v4.52, it was MD settings. I'd still like to know where to go in the Patch to set the CC errors chances. Thanks

Grand Prix 4 Dumb question - but how do you "apply" it?

Grand Prix 4 I just added some values of pit entry and exit sectors in Magic Data which were "0", which explains why all the AIs were crashing at the pit entrance. Frankly fellas, I don't how to mess with .dat files so I never go there. I've had some similar issues with high AI attrition on other tracks, namely Phoenix and Watkins Glen, and haven't had time to tweak those and don'

Grand Prix 4 Fooled around and fixed the problem by adding some beginning and ending sector numbers to pit entrance and exit. Now the LBGP runs nearly perfect!

Grand Prix 4 Could you put this up again on mediafire? I have updated to Win 7 64 bit and would like to try it out.

Grand Prix 4 Actually I am not entering any performance files with this latest batch. I just leave that unchecked.

Grand Prix 4 Rene,
Since updating my PCs to Windows 7 and reloading all my GP4 stuff, including v4.52, I now notice the competitive attrition rate is very high, i.e. no A! cars finish a full race. I first noticed this on the recently downloaded 1982 Long Beach track and thought it was something to do with the track, but the other drivers are out of the race messages are very frequent now on all tracks. I s

Grand Prix 4 I don't know if the final versions of these have been released so I assume these are still "betas". I absolutely love this Long Beach track, possibly because I have been to the LBGP so many times in my life. The graphic work on the trackside stuff is stellar and gives the driver such a sense of the speed. I finally ran a full 80 lap race and noticed a couple of bugs as follows: Fir

Grand Prix 4 Is there a mediafire download for this? The 4shared.com site has downloaded a bunch of trash on my laptop here that I cannot seem to get rid of.

Grand Prix 4 I installed this mod thru the ZAZ CSM but after it opened, I selected a driver, and then tried to run on one of the tracks, it crashed as it kept giving me that GP4 stopped working Windows error message. Does the same thing on any track selected. Any thoughts?

Grand Prix 4 My old XP keeps getting corruption issues so I am going to bite the bullet and upgrade to Windows 7. Should I stick with the 32 bit version or opt for the 64 bit and/or are there any advantages with GP4 of using 64 bit. By the way, I know there have been forum threads regarding this before but the search finds nothing under the words 64 bit or 32 bit(?). Thanks for the help.

Grand Prix 4 I am running (and enjoying) some of the new tracks that have recently been offered on here but am running into an issue with the fuel settings. For example, when I run the Zolder or Long Beach tracks the system only "consumes" .7-.8 gallons per lap. Is this a setting in Magic Data? Also, is this affected only by track length or other factors such as car setups? If a track has a MG fuel
