I think what he's said is fair. Alonso came into the team expecting to be num

F1 That A23(?) was a gorgeous car, shame Arrows had no money, never mind.
To be fair, its not going to be difficult for this car to be an improvement over last years. Can't see them screwing up two years in a row.

F1 The R23 is most definitely a good looking car, its nice and simple, clean.

F1 Think Chet means the date and time that is shown when you post. Unless of course you were being sarcastic, in which case ignore this...
Edit: The clock's always been funny for me, think it says its 08:00am, which it isn't. Not far off though, its only six hours wrong.

Off-Topic Its amazing to think how much cars have changed over the past ten years. Just looking at the 2000 and 2001 Benetton shows the leaps and bounds made in aerodynamics. Its quite impressive really.
I like the car, although I'm not sure about the nose. There's something about it that puts me off, possibly too square. I don't mind the livery so much any more either.

F1 Webber's done a good job at any team he's been at, just he's always been plagued with bad luck, Klien was the same before him.
I really do hope this car is a good one. This team hasn't had a good car since Stewart really, they've never reached the same heights.

F1 It wasn't ever going to be radically different. The RB3 would have been a much better car had it not been for reliability. It just needed some refinement aerodynamics wise, which I would imagine is what they've done here. Let's hope the gearbox works, otherwise they'll be getting alot of penalties if it breaks as much as it did last year.

F1 To allow the new team to use a customer car for their first season would have been a good idea. If willing, another team will give them the necessary equipment and they use that for the coming season, whilst desiging their own car for next year. The costs are still too high for a privateer team to enter though, the only hope is if a manufacturer enters, although none seem at all interested.

F1 Not sure if anyone else has seen this, but David Richards has said that he isn't going to try and enter Prodrive in the near future, ruling out the 2009 season.
Its a shame, if Prodrive can't afford it, what with their wealth of knowledge and of course money, how can anyone else be expected to enter?

F1 As per my post a few weeks back, turns out that offer was only valid until Christmas Eve, which was a bit of a bugger really.
Anyway, another question, what's a good price for a 360 these days? I've seen the Premium with two games and a wireless controller for £259 around most places and was just wondering if it was worth it? Also, would the company I'm buying it from know if it

F1 Why isn't Fisi wanted at Force India? His experience of working in a top team would be invaluable to a team such as Fore India. Much like DC with RedBull, Fisi will help them move forward.

Other Games Anyone know of any good deals on 360 consoles for the UK? Had a look at Currys and I can get a new Arcade console with Viva Pinata, Forza 2 and a second wireless controller for £229.99.
Game had a preowned premium console for £200 though, not sure what the whole package is, but that was my opriginal choice. Not sure what unit it would be though, doubt it'd be a Falcon unit.

People have lobbied the same complaint at Top Gear, how it encourages unsafe driving etc... I've seen on this forum people calling it BS when it comes to Top Gear.
I'm sure MS won't

F1 Can't really understand some of the restrictions in place. Its all down to cutting costs thought, isn't it? I take it the ten year engine freeze is the same as we have now, just longer. The teams can change certain parts of the engine, but only if the FIA have approved.
by
MrMan

F1 It was a few of the current teams, not just the FIA. The likes of Williams and BMw (I think) opposed the whole customer car scheme, which is unfair really as its the best way of a team getting to grips with F1 and then building their own for the following season. Although, if Prodrive had entered they'd be a McLaren B team effectively and would be challenging BMW and Williams, possibly even

F1 The nose of the Force India (eurgh!) car is quite different, its very pointy. Didn't really notice it on the Spyker last year. Horrible livery though.

F1 Think Red Bull would find it hard to drop DC or Webber, they've both earned they drives and I can't see the RB04 being a huge leap forward so Alonso's talent would be wasted, along with his huge pay package.
Only way I could see the RBR thing happening is if DC/Webber (Whoever would get the boot) is guaranteed a drive for next year. Not sure McLaren would want Webber.

F1 Red Bull have already come out and denied their interest in Alonso, they've got a good equilibrium with Webber and DC.
Alonso should stay put, the only team as good as/better than McLaren is Ferrari, and they don't need him. He'd probably love to go back to his spiritual home in Renault, but can Renault afford the buy out and do McLaren have anyone to take over from him? Rosberg

F1 Cheers Gav for all the advice. I went onto Ebuyer just to see how much a similair system would cost, and it was about £150 cheaper. So I'll probably be going with my own system. Also on the Ebuyer one I chose a more reputable company for the power supply. The one from Komplett was the standard one they gave you, others were at an extra cost.

Off-Topic Cheers Gav.
Was also wondering as well would it be better to build the Pc myself (which I've done in the past, so its not a problem) or to go through Komplett (or any other website that offers the same service) and get them to build it to me specification. I've been going through Komplett so far and have come up with the following specs:
Cooler Master Mystique 632, Black
AXP Powe
