Is it somewhere dark and gloomy? :P Edit: But if you're going to where the picture is....can I come too????by gareth - F1
They are called "Team McLaren Mercedes" now. Though West still is the main sponsor, it stopped being part of the name I think about two years ago Well there you go!!by gareth - F1
that car does look sensational!! shame it can't be in the raceby gareth - F1
sorry, what i mean to say is that the sporting element of f1 is forever being eroded, and i think it's sad that a drink manufacturer can name a motorsport team in the top echelon of the sport after itself. maybe we could then have a lego team, a maggi noodles team and joe's pizza delivery team as well :P they don't really have the right ring to them, don't you think? namesby gareth - F1
do you think the ceo of red bull is actually going to run the team?by gareth - F1
i think the white 555 looks pretty awful- bar should learn from minardi's lesson in that sponsor's colours must match the car's colours. when minardi had the sky blue of wilux, with the green of superfund, mixed in with the base black white and red it looked really really really shite. actually it still does even without wilux.... and by the way, i wouldn't mind if they aby gareth - F1
that main straight complex is just crazy- i love it!!by gareth - F1
i hate it how a sporting team could be called 'red bull'. i think it's bad enough that teams these days are 'West McLaren Mercedes' or 'Lucky Strike BAR Honda'. but if there isn't even a team name in there, just a big big company, i think that's sad. there's the purist in me coming outby gareth - F1
forgive my ignorance- what does 'sticky' mean? i've seen it a few times and always wondered.......by gareth - Grand Prix 3
i'm gunna go out on a limb here and say that i don't mind the tarmac runoffs precisely because it will keep cars in the race. at spa one fifth of the field was gone after two and a half corners!! admittedly that incident had f*** all to do with run off areas but the more cars the merrier i reckon and maybe this circuit will prove to be awesome- what we've seen is just a squiggleby gareth - F1

there was one about five pages back that i'm pretty sure didn't get an answer from anyone it's symmons plains in tasmania, looking from the s/f line up to the turn 1 kinkby gareth - Off-Topic
that's funny you mention DC in GP2 coz he was the b*stard who used to ALWAYS take me off too- no matter which season carset I used!! but at the moment, i'm having a problem with the renault team- they seem to be tag teaming as to who can stuff up quickestby gareth - Off-Topic
hey hey, here's my helmet: it's maybe a bit bland, but i think it goes well with the car i race:by gareth - Grand Prix 3
What is GM's reluctance to get in F1? They've got Chevrolet, Opel, Vauxhall, Holden, Mazda (don't they?) plus any number of other high end brands that could happily sit in the back of an F1, so why not? hell i think they even own daewoo.....by gareth - F1
works like a charm!! thank you qwerty, my saubers are now blue and green instead of blue and....blue :Pby gareth - Grand Prix 3
i've had gp3 1.13 for a while, it's only ever worked on software mode because my machine is ancient and i'm cheap and can't afford a gfx card :P but i recently found the 2000 addon dirt cheap, installed it and hey presto- it comes up in hardware mode. so i go back to my original gp3 and try to switch modes in the graphics options bit, but the only thing i can select is softby gareth - Grand Prix 3
Dave and I have got Symmons Plains working, I have Mallala going and I've just finished a Queensland Raceway. All except for scenery- anyone willing to do the ads and what not for those circuits?by gareth - Grand Prix 3
hey hey...... it's been a while and i'm working five jobs at the moment..... does anyone want to give me a hand? i've got the artwork sorted, a standard pit crew and pit banner and the performance sorted, anyone want to help me out with the car skins? i've made a couple but my time is really stretched so if anyone wants to help that'd be awesome... cheers guysby gareth - Grand Prix 3
bugger that!!!!!!!! just coz i'm excitable i'd do my best gp3 impression and be latest of the late breakers into a corner where overtaking is just silly, most probably punt some poor bastard into the kitty litter because it's the most fun!! i'd like to see schumacher do that!! oh wait....he has :pby gareth - F1
f*** a duck smoking pen..... no wonder your cars look so good. makes me feel guilty for the relatively very very dodgy cars i've made so far :pby gareth - Grand Prix 3
sorry to go on about the footy, but during the england-australia game charlie hodgson was lining up a kick at goal and some wag in the crowd right near him started a chant: "Jonny would kick it!! Jonny would kick it!!..." hodgson duly missed the kick and apparently sent the world's darkest look over to that section of the crowd- i think it's gotta go down as one of the bby gareth - F1
andrew it wasn't a friendly. up for grabs was the cook cup, which england had held since 99 but is now back where it belongs. :p rugby isn't like soccer (sorry 'football' where internationals are called friendlies- they're test matches and each one is important. england seems to have a habbit of degrading international matches when it suits them and coming up with excusesby gareth - F1
montana uk- alan jones was employed by ch.9 and used to chat with darryl eastlake before the races and after ad breaks, not ch.10. the problem with those two was that eastlake commentates on everything, from swimming to footy to athletics so wasn't an f1 'authority' and jones always seemed to be the most negative person in the world with regard to absolutely anything. woods and croby gareth - F1
banning testing i think is a great idea!! once the season finishes, testing is banned until the new year. then you can test your new car over say, 20 test days before the season starts. then the friday of a grand prix weekend i think should be made a 'test' day, where teams can run three cars, use whatever drivers and do whatever. should save a shitload of money, and help lesser teams wby gareth - F1
'8 out of 10 teams' aren't happy and recognise the need to lower costs in f1, think renault, bar and jaguar. current costs really are obsecene at the moment. lower costs i believe will help create more competitive racing. and it would also allow other teams into the sport, including both privateers and your factory teams. arden have been making noises about stepping up, there was sby gareth - F1
couldn't agree with you more -qwerty-. big changes are needed then they need to be stuck with for some time. i believe f1's focus on aero and electronic gizmos (while impressive and technologically amazing) is it's biggest SPORTING downfall and the focus needs to be shifted back to the driver and his skill/balls. and while not a physicsist (i have trouble even spelling it!i'by gareth - F1
