Most ignored drivers in this thread: Daniil Kvyat Kevin Magnusson Both rookies with very little experience with F1 wet weather driving, being thrust right into the thick of it, in a very, very unusual and unpredictable qualifying.by Morbid - F1
That he already made up his mind, expressed it, was overruled by Mercedes PR, and had to go counter to what he stated previously. It is by far an unusual situation in F1. Most high profile drivers have been through that grind.by Morbid - F1

Button's take on the situation: Quote"This has really helped Nico's championship, breaking Lewis's run of wins," explained Button after the Monaco Grand Prix. "Is Lewis strong enough to come back? I really do think he is. "You will see a more determined Lewis at the next race. It is a circuit he loves. "I remember with Lewis when we had a tussle in aby Morbid - F1

If you think that Hamilton has no talent, then you are delusional. That man @#$%& talent more often than you change your underwear. That you don't like his personality doesn't change that. In his rookie season he tied Alonso for points and beat in him in the standings in equal machinery. That says all you need to know, especially when Fernando is your preferred choice of comparison. Well my intention was not to poke fun of your memory, but to set the current debate into perspective. What Lewis did is not even in the same league as the stuff Fernando has done, yet an outburst like that from him would not be taken in this way. Vettel doing his thing isn't either although he really behaves like a proper baby. The things he did in pre-season testing was unbelievable.by Morbid - F1

Hamilton requested to pit some laps earlier, but was told to stay out as there was traffic in the pit window. Had the team let him pit, he would have been in the lead after the safety car as he would not have needed to pit with the others. Bianchi might just have made the entire season for Marussia. This will net good from Bernie's pile of cash. Wow, Raikönnen that was really a passing move worthy of a world champion. True, that no one would know if he had kept quite, but the fact is that many eyelids were batted once people knew. The reason no one suspected him was that they could not see the advantage it would bring to him, and then the connection was not made, on who actually DID profit from it.... namely that not doing it would see him lose his race seat. Admittance does nothing to affect objectivity, it only speaks of the political situation. What is at the heart of the matter is this: can you hold the ideal line, then lose control of the car and slide completely off the ideal line, and then retake it without checking mirrors and without respect for any car that might have tried to take advantage of your error? I think not. To quote Ayrton Sennaby Morbid - F1
