Ferrari continues to bleed talent. Fry and Tombazis are leaving.

The Ferrari/Sauber link through the engine supply is obvious. I wonder how much that allows them to keep tabs on drivers.

Dunno... not my choice. In any case, I dropped most of the info I could pick up today in the other thread.

F1 So a bit of inside information here.
The only official reaction, outside of the press conference, to today's unveiling of the 2015 driver line up was this:
In an interview to the Danish F1 broadcaster, he explained some of the things that have been going on behind the scenes. According to KM, he suffered under the pressure inside the team. Already from the middle of the season, he

F1 If I were Alonso, I would insist on an out clause. There is no way he has time to be with a third underperforming team. Judging by the recent tweets he has made, it seems very certain that he is affiliated with Honda now. Still, there is hope as long as no announcement has been made.
As to JB/KM, there is NOTHING to find out there except speculation. Everything is quiet everywhere.

F1 So.... McLaren have called for a press conference tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a JB/KM lineup for '15.

Nobody outside of the loop can know for certain, but there are some very good estimates out there, and several of them put those kind of figures on t

I can resoundly deny that. Dennis is firmly behind Magnusson. He even toured Denmark a few days ago to drum up sponsors for him. If anything, it is the other way around, and R

F1 So... McLaren had their meeting, and there is still no decision on driver line up. Geez, they sure are taking their sweet time. Can't help but think that it is really starting to smart on both drivers.

It could be Caterham in some sort of dialect. I got it to be clusterf&$k, but I didn't want to write that, as I thought there was at least a mi

What rookie couldn't be better. That's the situation of being a rookie. You are going to get better, or you shouldn't be there.

I cut the text, but I couldn't agree more with you. We owe a huge thanks to Rosberg for keeping Hamilton under pressure for the duration of the season. F1 So Hamilton couldn't sponge up the pressure, Rosberg looks flying, and McLaren learned nothing from Sochi and seem to have more to worry about than driver line up and poaching aerodynamicists.

It's true that he has not been close to Button when it comes to points, but it is not true when it comes to pace,

F1 Latest news on the Button vs. Magnussen McLaren choice is that it is not about sporting or development ability for the team. They know what they need to know. What McLaren don't have, is certainty on how big of a pay cut Button is willing to take, and how much sponsorship Magnussen can generate for the team in the future. This is not official in any way, but it is pretty reliable.

Correction. They want the sport to stay alive until they cash out. Once they have done that, they don't care what happens. So if they have put the sport on a death clock, through their actions, they don't
