Thanks René! If it crashes one more time that's what I'll do. As a last experiment I put the gp4.exe compatibility to windows 98, and set CPU to 3 (figured I'd use a CPU thaby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Rene! I'm running with my own non csm 1997 mod, where I put in the cars, textures etc. I've also modified the exe with tweaker and team editor 3.5. Should I rebuild it all using a clean GP4? It would be quite a big job!by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
Has anyone any ideas as to the cause please? I'm a little wary of doing my race as I'd hate for it to crash halfway through! Again I deleted thousands of these lines. A different one this time, as the cars were starting to leave the pits in Melbourne at the start of the qualifying session. Same system config as before, win 7 64 bit sp1, GPxPatch v 4.44, running GP4.exe as administrator and in xp compatibility mode, CPU 0, and track length set to 20km. This time as well as the gpxload file popping up, assert also popped up with these.. 0x77a30474 -> <by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4

Thanks guys! Nice pictures Ariel It's strange, sometimes if you go quite slowly off the track, instead of sliding down the verge into the magma, the car sinks into and gets stuck in the verge. Pretty odd! If anyone knows how to fix it I'd like to know All the polygons there in the .col are set to hard.by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4

It's quite a large bump, but has anything happened with regard to Duffer releasing the cars in their current state? It would be a huge shame if his work went to wasteby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4

Has anyone managed to punt an AI car into the magma yet?by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
I'm happy to say that the track is done! There are a few minor unfixable bugs caused by some unusual features of the track, from a downward sloping starting grid to a magma chamber, but none to detract significantly from the circuit I hope. Hope you enjoy it!by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
