And I landed the Fisichella B199 Benetton for $25 including shipping. Model has accumulated dust but I'll be ready with my cotton buds and alcohol! Now waiting on more auctions to come to a close in the next few days.by Guimengo - Off-Topic
Thanks Dan! I was leaning towards Irvine but I couldn't find an occasion for his helmet being that color. We'll see how that goes for me :P. Edit: and the price skyrocketed to $50 (with shipping) with still 4 days left to go. I'm now only hopeful of landing a Fisichella Benetton.by Guimengo - Off-Topic

One thing I really, really miss in Formula 1 is the camaraderie between Jackie Stewart and Rubens Barrichello. It was impossible not to cheer for Stewart GP, that 97-99 period was the reason I became a Rubens fan and was disappointed to see Jackie leave.by Guimengo - Off-Topic
Officially out of my range for all auctions :' , with 3 others (2 being GTR cars) at my limit with 5 days to go: Minichamps 1:18 - - Karl Wendlinger Sauber C12 1993 - Mika Hakkinen MP4/12 1997 - Karl Wendlinger Sauber C13 1994 - Andrea de Cesaris Sauber C13 1994 200th GP Keeping to a budget can be frustrating!by Guimengo - Off-Topic
If I was still employed I'd go for some cars I adore, especially Group C, but reality means I must not pay $40 or more for these models including shipping .by Guimengo - Off-Topic
And I lost Hakkinen's 1st win and De Cesaris 200th GP, both due to me being asleep and Hakkinen's I only lost by 50 cents. Screw thee, e-Bay.by Guimengo - Off-Topic
9 hours to go on the De Cesaris 200th GP 1:18 model, we'll see if anyone else will outbid my maximum bid. I like the 94 Sauber and while I'm not too keen on that specific livery, it's one of the cheapest auctions going .by Guimengo - Off-Topic
I found this, should I jump on it? C13 from 1994's Canadian GP.by Guimengo - Off-Topic
I think the Schumacher hate is due to the fact he and Ferrari had some dodgy calls made in their favor, the clear #1 status complete with team orders, the illegal 1994 car, and the deliberate drive-into-people moves.by Guimengo - F1
Nice story! Also there's no such thing as "ridiculously risky" overtakesby Guimengo - Off-Topic
How common is it in Europe to have go kart places only do hotlapping instead of actual qualifying and race? I've read about several places like that and when I ran in Madrid it was that same system.by Guimengo - Off-Topic
GPG has a bunch of motorsport enthusiasts and a bunch of us every now and then race something somewhere so this is the place to share your stories! I shall start: This Thursday night I went kart racing and I last raced in April in that place - but in a different track - and then in May in Rio so I was excited for tonight, as I hadn't done anything for way too long. Before the race I toldby Guimengo - Off-Topic

There's a console you can find on e-Bay that plays NES, SNES, and Mega Drive and it costs about $39.99 and it has great reviews!by Guimengo - Other Games
The amount of work you'd have to do plus losing the ability to go online on your PS3 are massive negatives about this. Just run stuff of a computer or laptop.by Guimengo - Other Games
I'd keep both drivers, Grosjean would be a major step backwards for the team.by Guimengo - F1
I have a 360 controller I bought to use with my laptop, it works great once you download some software from Microsoft itself.by Guimengo - Other Games
Well it's been wet/cold so I have no doubt that prediction will be off.by Guimengo - F1

The world isn't funny at the moment. Simoncelli died about a week after Wheldon and now, just a couple days over a week later my best childhood friend has died as a result from a motorcycle accident. Two terrible things about this: 1- My family lives back home in BR, yesterday I decided to write to my mom and say hi but I jokingly wrote "salutations from your favorite son, just wantby Guimengo - Other Motorsports
In China I dominated the AI in the rain once I got my rhythm in the race, in Spa there was nothing I could do against the AI, regardless of all setups I tried I never had the top speed or acceleration even when geared for such, the AI was always better. By then I got supremely annoyed with the game and finished the season with 3-lap races.by Guimengo - Other Games
@HakkF1: You can get your game through there and it will work on your PC and on multiplayer.by Guimengo - Other Games
Welcome back HakkF1. Multiplayer is locked unless you enter the code provided with the game, I mean, PURCHASED COPY of the game. Anyway save your money and play some other racing game with F1 cars in it.by Guimengo - Other Games

2 bits you forgot Finamus Fin Fin, 1 is the rear slides too much without TC, far more than in real life. Soooo many corners in real life that are taken full throttle have to be managed carefully in the game. 2 the AI zig zags around the track when you need to overtake them - your hotlap on their outlap or lapping a backmarker - and they also have varying speeds at which they can take corners, asby Guimengo - Other Games
