Kpiotrow, we all know ALonso doesn't understand what yellow flags are for (see Brazilian GP), because if he did he would have known that he could have made a pass before he entered the yellow flag zone.by Muks_C - F1
They showed the incident in the picture above on the ITV pre-race show. They were stood there with Kimi and MS wearing their caps, then MS took his cap off and put it on Bernie's head, but it nearly fell off so Bernie grabbed it before it fell. It a bit like a student giving an apple to his teacher: 'Please Mr Bernie, make me champ, I'll give you my hat'by Muks_C - F1
Ellis, Kimi needs to win, but if JPM is leading with Kimi 2nd, would JPM let Kimi through, thats what he's gibbering about. Surely JPM wouldn't do that. A win for himself would at least be some tiny consolation for not getting the championship.by Muks_C - F1
Yes, a penalty for the bitch Montoya was awarded. I agree. He has to learn that races are long and tough, and he can make better use of his horsepower down the straight rather than barging his friend off the track in a stupid move on lap 2 of a 73 lap race. He has no-one else to blame but himself.by Muks_C - F1
All the FIA did when they changed the rules for this season was to artificially extend the time it will take for Ferrari and Michael to win. It would have been over after Monza I think under the old points system.by Muks_C - F1
Even the great Martin Brundle and his idiot friend James Allen commented that Michaels' move was LEGAL.by Muks_C - F1
Montoya didn't have to try a risky move like that on lap 2 of a 73 lap race. He probably would have got past him down the straight on the next lap. I think Rubens is very angry about that incident, but feels he should not publicly slag off Montoya because they are friends, thats why he is playing it down. If any other driver had done that to Rubens, I'm sure he would have publicly blameby Muks_C - F1
yeah, its like the team decide for you when the best moment to change to different tyres.by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
Montoya probably said, that either he or Kimi will beat 'old man Michael' so MS grabbed them and tried to strangle them both, while Alonso thinks he's Superman and is trying to fly! Da Matta is thinking 'these F1 guys are weird! I should have stayed in CART'by Muks_C - F1
Kimi was probably born in 79, because he's about 23 or 24 now. p.s a cardboard cutout of Kimi might have more personality that the real Kimi!by Muks_C - F1
Manssour Ojjeh is who you probably mean (sorry if the spelling of his name is not correct)by Muks_C - F1
OK guys, I have just read the story at F1Central. Sorry I doubted you. I thought you were just sh*t stirring. I apologise.by Muks_C - F1
ChrisB, Adelaide in GP4? Do you mean Melbourne or have you got Adelaide into your GP4?by Muks_C - Grand Prix 4
I have just been on the site to check it out. It DOES NOT say he has won 6, it says 5. It would be incredibly stupid of them to write that wouldn't it.by Muks_C - F1
From Hungary this year F3000 races had a mandatory pitstop, which added a twist to the races. It was good to watch, because the F3000 mechanics are much less experienced at doing quick stops, and the fastest tyre stop took about 13 seconds. The F1 pitcrews were watching the F3000 crews change the tyres and they clapped when they did a good job.by Muks_C - F1
Villeneuve also has it in his contract that he gets the T car for every race, and has done since the BAR team was formed.by Muks_C - F1
Its a nice looking car, nice shape, and looks good with the Minardi livery. Isn't it a bit insulting to the Minardi designers if a year old car from another team is better than the car they designed?by Muks_C - F1
When something happens to DC I always listen carefully to Brundle for any bias or favouritism, but surprisingly, and thankfully in my opinion, he seems to stay impartial and unbiased. He may be thinking lots of thoughts inhis head, but he doesn't seem to say them, because he would be crucified for it. When DC went out of the Italian GP, Martin just said "thats Coulthard, I think, heby Muks_C - F1
James Allen was a lot more tolerable when he was in the pit lane doing the job that Ted Kravitz does now, when we only heard from him a few times during a GP.by Muks_C - F1
Yeah check it. I always watch the highlights because they sometimes show bits they missed in the live version, but they definitely changed it.by Muks_C - F1
Another example of a Sauber 'helping' ferrari was in jerez '97 I think, when Larini let MS through but held up Villeneuve, and Murray and Martin commented: Murray: A case of champagne to Larini and the Sauber team! Martin: Isn't that a Ferrari engine in the back of that Sauber? Murray: You are a cynical chap Martin!by Muks_C - F1
Yeah when Damon turns his slice of pizza around to take a bite from the crust, Murray shouts "He's SPUN!" classic!by Muks_C - F1
ok so HHF held Montoya up, but I'm sure he wasn't doing it as a favour to Schumacher (someone HHF really hates).by Muks_C - F1
Yeah I noticed thy re-record other bits too, so it makes more sense if you only watch the 40-min race highlights. But the way they re-recorded James Allen's mistake, and the way he sounded like he is so clever because he knew it was Gene, and anyone else would be stupid if they thought it was Montoya, is what got on my nerves.by Muks_C - F1
or do you ignore the Z and pronounce it like the word 'salt'??by Muks_C - F1
Those of you who get the commentary from Brundle and Allen will have heard them confuse Gene for Montoya after Schumachers 2nd stop. I watched the highlights programme later on Sunday night and they had recorded newer commentary for it. In the original version they said something like "Montoya's done it, he's ahead of Schumacher" just as Schumacher was exiting the pitlane. Bby Muks_C - F1
The Williams team then rang Gene who was still in bed and he had to rush to the track. Martin Brundle said he saw Gene run past him but didn't know why, until it was officially announced that he would takeover for Ralf.by Muks_C - F1
Apparently he had a headache this morning and said that he didn't feel too well.by Muks_C - F1
