Kimi almost spun at Juncao, and drove across the grass and found the support pitlane so went down that, to go round and rejoin the track, but as he drove down the road he came to a closed gate, so he stopped, did a u-turn in a narrow piece of road, then came back near Juncao across the grass and back onto the track. it was unlucky for him the gate was closed, otherwise it would have been a good eby Muks_C - F1
the forum on BBC red button was good. they made a mistake on their little montage of Fangio, Schumacher and Vettel being triple champions though: the Sky coverage just doesn't have the charisma and natural feel of the Jake/EJ/DC combo. Sky need to rethink their team, they could do with replacing Simon, getting rid of Georgie completely (she just states the bleeding obvious the wayby Muks_C - F1
oh well, congratulations to Vettel and Red Bull, you did the best job overall.by Muks_C - F1
shame for Hulk and Lewis, good news for Alonso! just keep it on track man! bad stop for Vettel too!by Muks_C - F1
haha nice detour for kimi, shame the gate was shut!by Muks_C - F1
for the vettel pass on kamui, i can only imagine he let him through again, because we then saw him pass KK into turn 1, but he had already passed him coming past the pit entrance under yellows.by Muks_C - F1
why is the media making a big fuss over whether or not ferrari will do anything to massa's car to move alonso up? this weekend and track circumstances are different, the clean/dirty side of track doesn't apply as much in brazil, and they need massa to be ahead of vettel anyway, so it makes no sense to move him 5 places down just to promote alonso up 1 place when he is so close to vettelby Muks_C - F1

Ant Davidson cleared up what Vettel was complaining about, and Horner mentioned it too. great job by Lewis, shame he was robbed in Singapore and Abu Dhabi, he might have been in the title hunt still. 13 in it for Brazil!by Muks_C - F1
great driving by JB & Kimi.by Muks_C - F1
he's in the rev limiter at the end of the straight though, even with more KERS on the straight, he wouldn't be any faster, he'd just reach his maximum speed earlier, if you get what i mean. and he did it just as i posted! good lad!by Muks_C - F1
Lewis has DRS on Vettel now!!by Muks_C - F1
alternator problem for Webber. i hope it affects Vettel tooby Muks_C - F1
they had to be conservative with the tyres as had been said. it'll change for next year. Lewis is on fire! he's shaping up to take Vettel out of the race, as a favour for his old mate Alonso Crofty has been talking %$@&. Webber's KERS has failed again and he has retired.by Muks_C - F1
Ferrari have broken the seal on Massa's gearbox so he's dropped down to 11th, Alonso up to 7th. both on the clean side now. at least they've admitted what they did and why, Luca Collajani was on Sky and said it was tactical, and didn't make up some excuse like we might have imagined they would. on the Sky issue, does anyone have an XBox or PS3, and know someone who has a Skby Muks_C - F1
Narain's car looked like it was about to blow up just as Nico hit him, smoke coming out of the left bank of the engine. it might not have been him actually braking for the corner. i guess we'll find out later. this is why we were all excited about Kimi's return! i was torn in two, on one side i so wanted Kimi to get a win, on the other i wanted Alonso to get past to cut the gby Muks_C - F1
yeah i'm happy with these models, not bought any in a long time so it's nice to have some new ones. the 2011 Spa model's rear wing is slightly bent forward, so the top edge of the endplate is tipped down at the front, raised at the back if you get what i mean, like someone is standing behind it and pushing it forward. i can move it down at the back by pressing but it moves back toby Muks_C - Off-Topic
yeah please post some pics of your display! i am looking for a display case or cabinet for my 1:43 colllection. anyone got any ideas? ideally it will be glass or perspex so it lets light in from all angles. here are the pics of my recent purchases, photographed with and without flash so you can see the real colour then the fake colour from the flash effect:by Muks_C - Off-Topic
i was going to post last night and say i thought Webber was weirdly slow in turn 2, as Brundle also pointed out post-race, but didn't as i thought i would get flamed for defending Grosjean. yes he was to blame as he clearly drove into Webber, but Webber did look really slow. with Grosjean's reputation, everyone is going to jump all over him any time he makes contact from now on, even ifby Muks_C - F1
fixed the picture in my last post. yeah the second box one is taller and wider, but all the other model boxes are now just wider for the longer cars.by Muks_C - Off-Topic
@ Sapo, there are 2 versions of the Button 2011 Canadian GP Winner: and i guess yours is the second one with the taller box, whereas the top one is the "standard" version. they seem to be calling the taller boxed models "promo". the different versions might be available in different countries, i don't know why else there would be 2 versions of specific raby Muks_C - Off-Topic
@ Dan/Ferrari2007, yeah i read about the newer Minichamps 1:43 boxes being longer/wider than previously. I don't own any yet, the newest model i have is the '09 Brazil GP Button Brawn, so haven't seen any wider boxes in person. although i have just treated myself and ordered: 1:43 2010 Schumacher Merc, 2011 Spa Schumacher Merc (pictured above, the plain silver box not the 20by Muks_C - Off-Topic
yeah i saw that helmet. the gold one from Spa 2011 is also available. for me, they're too expensive for what they are. i don't mind spending big bucks on the cars, but i couldn't justify spending that much on helmets, even though they would make nice display pieces. will post some pics if i get any of the above models. has anyone got any of the Mercedes GP cars, of either Nicby Muks_C - Off-Topic
alright chaps, long time no model-chat. am just browsing the various Schumacher models around at the moment, particularly with his retirement now confirmed, and saw this. spot the error: yes, it's the 20 year anniversary between '91 and '11, but the text is wrong. it says "20th GP", but the 2011 race wasn't his 20th at Spa, it was his 17th, and the 2012 racby Muks_C - Off-Topic
and don't forget, any "talent" show which asks viewers to vote on acts makes many millions of pounds, and so even though they are spending 22mil on making it, they will make that back after a few shows, if each vote costs the viewer £1 and they get about 8 mmillion viewers each week. not only would F1 probably be more expensive to put on, but it wouldn't generate any moneyby Muks_C - F1

i thought it was really good tbh, had a good enough level of detail for the casual or new follower, but not dumbed down too much for us die hard fans. even the adverts didn't bother as the quality of the content was good. never seen that simon bloke before but he seemed comfortable and pretty natural. i already don't miss DC and EJ. DC was a bit boring and EJ would just start rambling aby Muks_C - F1
anyone with an xbox and xbox live gold membership, you just need the account details of someone in your family (or a friend) and you can watch it. my sister has the sky movies package, plus HD, so her sky go account has the f1 channel, which i'm using through my xbox. just watching snippets of the various shows they will will have, and they look great. they will have a whole F1 Legends serieby Muks_C - F1
