Thanks for the reply Excalibur - it seems to be only the mid-season version of the car which has the flickering where the nose cone section joins the cockpit - as if there was a slight gap. I also only use lod 0 and I used the new textures for Mexico with both the early and mid-season shape, all textures work fine with the early season car. Looking in gp4builder the co-ordinates seem identical foby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the new updates for the Williams Excalibur, - I've noticed in-game that there is a lot of flickering on the car where the nose cone joins the cockpit, especially when viewing the car from a distance. I re-installed the first version again just to compare and the problem isn't there. Maybe it's my old eyes but there does seem to be a difference.by neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
the magic data settings for the AI car power and grip may need to be increased for each level - Rookie, Pro etc, - that may helpby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
great track, thank you for all the work that's gone into itby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Great to see 2015 updates still being released, thank youby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for that tip, I think a few people will use it including myself, - Melbourne was a problem track for flickering shadows so thankfully thats fixed cheers!by neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Great work Xandy, thanks a lotby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Thanks René, it's great that all these great GP4 programmes are still being updatedby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Hi Xandy Would you be able to provide a different link for your 2015 Mclaren motorhome? For some reason I can't fully load the zippyshare page with all the adverts and winzip can't download the file for some reason, I keep getting an error - haven't seen this before!by neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the replies and link to the motorhomes, - those new trucks look good also, looking forward to them as well as new motorhomes. I know a lot of the gp4 tracks look totally deserted behind the garages so adding these can only make them look more realistic.by neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Hi I'm not sure if this will help, - it may depend on what version of Montreal you are using, - In the object attributes the "flag" and clipping distance should be "0" but you could try changing the "camera" setting from "0" to "18". Some objects use the zero setting to appear in all camera views but some use the number of cameras for theby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
I just wanted to ask if anyone has made any Motorhome objects/textures, I thought there was a project started by someone a while ago but I'm not sure if it was ever finished. A few of the tracks could have Motorhomes added to them - I know versions of Spa have them but they are not really up to dateby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
In the controls settings, you could try raising the Max Lock setting - it might help - but it could just be a controller problemby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Gezere, I know that in most tracks, changing the camera setting to "0" usually means all objects appear for all camera views but this isn't always the case. I know that the Monaco track needs the camera setting at "21" to get some objects to always appear in every camera view. You may want to try other camera settings to see if that corrects the problem. Great new update, thanks for sharing Arnaudby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Hope someone can help me with this - Does anyone know which settings to change to lower the Hud on screen - I still use a 1280x1024 screen res for GP4 and the hud is too high on-screen. Can I do it in gpxpatch or does it have to be the actual HUD ini files which contain a lot of data. - hoping for a quick fix hope someone can give me an idea of what figures I would need to change and to whby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Thanks again for taking the time to get those images together - I'll see what I can come up with using bits from some of them It's not a major advert on the circuit but it was the only one I couldn't get images of and I don't like being beaten!! The shots of the Suisscourtage sign have helped me improve that as well so thanks for that alsoby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the quick reply - I'll try and find an image which will make a better track ad - unless you can produce one of those as well! Much appreciated as I had no clue what the advert wasby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
This might be a long shot but does anyone know what the advert is on the wall at Monaco after the Loews hairpin? There is a one with ONLY YACHT/ONLY JET SUISSCOURTAGE INSURANCE and there is another advert to the left of that one and I've never seen a clear enough shot of it to work out what it isby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
I'm hoping you have some free time Excalibur - Mclaren have unveiled their new darker livery in time for this weekends race! - At least it will stand out more from the Mercedes - other than it is usually a lap behind (sorry Alessio!!)by neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for sharing all the 2015 helmets, - I noticed that Maldonado has changed his design quite a bit from pre-season to Australia, is anyone working on this or planning to?by neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
I thought I'd post these GP4 Tweaker settings for Hega's cars - They look ok but at least they are a base for people to alter to their liking For the Ferrari, Williams and Force India - Helmet x 0.0000 y 0.1350 z -0.3600 T-cam x 0.0000 y 0.6000 z -0.8200 Steering Wheel x 0.0000 y -0.0200 z -0.1100 wheels front right x 0.7300 yby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4

I'm running GP4 on Windows 7 64 bit with a SB xfi-gamer soundcard and gpxpatch and I'm prompted to callibrate the sound each time I run the game - it only takes a couple of clicks to sort it out so I just assume we have to live with it - If i remove the f1gstate it has no effect and if I run in debug mode the game stutters so that doesn't help - but as i said it's a minor hassby neilcaine - Grand Prix 4
