senna had a crappy ford engine in 93,i wonder if this is the same crappy ford that benetton had in 94 in which ms won the championship,if michaels victories where down to equal engine power in 95 they both had the renault, well in 96 with benetton and williams both using the same engine and benetton the reigning constructors champions, why were alesi and berger both behind ms in the 96 championshipby Mark - F1
michael had more than one retirement in 96,i think alex was just giving an example of the ferraris reliability the fact that in france he didn't make the start,he had about 5 retiremants that year.by Mark - F1
as for dc in silverstone 95 which johnny won,dc got a late stop go penalty which removed him from the equation otherwise dc would of won, again if you had watched the race you might know that.well done alex keep the truth coming it can't be argued with.how many times did dc watch mikas back in 98 99 quite a few cause he couldn't put a championship together himself in the best car on theby Mark - F1
and both races he won damon took ms out,if it was the other way round i'm certain michael would be getting called a cheat again,if you watched the races like i have see if you can notice how many front runners retired from both races before johnny came through to win,and it also makes a mockery of the statement about michaels team mates not getting much in the way of the best new parts on thby Mark - F1
schumachers benneton was underpowered compared to the williams in 94,it had the ford engine nowhere near the best that year, the two races that michael was banned in 94,in his absence the two cars qualified between the sixth and eight row,ms was usually top two that says more about the driver than the car.if you honestly don't think the ferarris from 96 onwards were bad then you must have a sby Mark - F1
if you think some of these drivers are equal or better than ms where r they in the race,ms has won plenty of races in inferior and i meen bloody awful cars, so if the drivers you mention are at least his equal why arn't they dragging there cars to victory,ms doesn't need the best car to win he has proved it countless times,i think you need to watch a few races from the early to mid 90by Mark - F1
that is our point,he isn't the only guilty driver in f1 yet on the forum he is the only one criticised for doing doing it.by Mark - F1
hi alex, i agree totally that the coulthard bernoldi incident is no different if you see my first post on this subject.i just can't understand why people hold senna in such awe and criticise ms for his behaviour on the track,my personal opinion and that is what it's all about is that senna was far worse,he always done his dangerous stuff at high speed and i can remember one move he putby Mark - F1
yes it will start an argument,it was up to ms to find a way past trulli, but can't you remember back to monaco last year dc's outburst at arrows for not moving over cause dc has a faster car and it's not fair and it ruined his race, and remember ron dennis saying he'd get bernoldi booted out of f1 for holding up dc.yes it was up to ms to get past trulli but if you think what heby Mark - F1

one race into ITV's grand prix coverage and james allen is getting slagged off, personally i don't think it is warranted and some of the name calling people on this site gave was juvenile .having listened to murray for many years and his brand of commentry with mistakes thrown in at times it was quite funny with martin there to correct him and it just made it part of the grand prix weekeby Mark - F1
i am in agreement that on the day ms had the best car but that is down to other teams poor performance with there new cars, even ferrari didn't expect to be that far ahead i just think that michael did the best job on the day.as for the tyre situation didn't mclaren switch to michelen because they thought they had a performance advantage, to the ms haters you seem to be allowing montoyaby Mark - F1
