Much better then original one.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Great update Excalibur. Now I'm worried about Mike, he usually disappears for some time as most of us here. I hope he's fine and will come back soon.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4

Looks like gameengine is set on 2d image and is calculating 3d mesh as one. Would it be possible to export one light source together with 3d object. Another thing I wonder if reversing normals would give any result.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
I'm not sure about this but you could make copy of car_wheel_front_lod_0.gp4 located inside Rims folder, and rename it into car_wheel_front_cockpit.gp4by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4

Few more screenshots. Sauber. And Jaguar.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
That shape looks awesome. I'm going to have closer look obviously but it looks like your finest work up to day, I mean detail-wise. I hope to see more then one paint work, that would be really interesting and cool.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Work in progress images of next car, Sauber C21. Currently working on damage model and UV maps. Also some parts still missing like brake ducts, some body-lines, t-cam and so on. Kedy are you ok? You've been exposed to that Toyota patter for such long time I'm worried.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Yeah nice shape, Tobi. Paintwork is OK , I guess.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Impressive work. Looks stunning.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Nice surprise! Yeah some of my very first work for GP4 right there. Just to clarify tyre shapes are not mine, I did textures an remapped sidewall's. Back then Bridgestone's didn't have markings on inside walls. Cars are incredibly low poly, still look good in those screens. Thanks Tobi, great work.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
That looks awesome. Great work.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Thank you guys for all nice comments. To tell you the truth @fongu I didn't even realize they were late season. William is originally made without sidepod winglet, I just made it as sort off add on because it was easy work. I don't plan working on different shapes for each car as I did in 2002 season, it is just too much work. I'm aware Jordan and Benetton I think, are early seaby soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Amazing work Kev, both on Ferrari and McLaren. I love your technical walkthrough keep up with that. So nice to not having to worry about polygon number being high anymore. It is a bit more rewording being able to shape complete car with as much details possible. I'm so glad you're back and Isn't Tobi just great to work with?by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Funny you should mention that. Some of my favourite cars from that year. Do not get yours hope up just yet, there is still bunch of work to be done and I have almost zero free time for this but I would very much like to finished. Plan is to continue work on this project right after 2002 is done.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Capital GP4. Rename to .gp4 and it should be fine.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
Looks awesome. Very exciting that Fongu is back.by soulbringer - Grand Prix 4
