Then I left both a1ring2001.anm and shanghai.anm and it worked fine again. So for some reason GP4 needs all 17 original .anm files.by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4

I posted this problem with my track some days ago, but it's very hard to keep its thread on first page... so Laguna suggested me I posted in here, which is sticky, so here it is. When cars are pit-headed, they follow the red line (picture below). White line is normal CC-Line (a bit different by now, I have remade it) I told my problem to a couple guys... but they're a little busby Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
I'm not sure, but it seems that GP4 hasn't found the steering wheel and the tyres inside cars.wad.by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for the nice words, gildoorf your track also looks great. To be honest I have small a track list that I plan to do after I finish Jerez... but I won't say a word about other tracks until Jerez is ready. But yes, I plan to make other tracks if life allows meby Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Which track were you running at? Some tracks have some cars using a 1-pit strategy at 100% distance, then at 50% these cars do not pit at all.by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
My opinion: Single-lap qualify with low fuel, car orders reverse of best times from all practice sessions. Just best time among all sessions, nothing aggregate. Two sets of slick tyres, one for friday & saturday, another for sunday. Additional two sets of wets. Not sure about engine rules, I think they having to last for one weekend was ok. Two tyre suppliers, if there were more would beby Prblanco - F1
Zeppelin, see the picture six posts above and I'll try to explain it... normally, all cars follow cc-line, ok. But when they are low on fuel and on the last lap before going to pits, they follow a strange line (red on that picture), and when the pitlane turns left (first 30 sectors), some cars follow it, some don't and end back on track (red route 2 on picture). Was I clear this time?by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Just got 3DEditor 16... track is not crossing any boundaries.. but the bug is still there, very strange. Thanks for your help anyway.by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
I don't have 16 because of my problems with RealGPx... but I don't think I crossed any boundaries, because I have displaced the track so it appears centered at 3DEditor if the camera points to X=0 and Y=0, Pitch=-90. What freakens me out is your sig pic EDIT: The cars follow cc-line normally if they're not going to pits. And Laguna is sending me 3DEd 16, big thanks!by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
A picture of my problem. When pit-headed, all cars follow the red line, but at the pitlane start, some brake and enter the pits correctly (route 1) and some don't, go to main straight, turn back and crash at the left wall (route 2).by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
I got another bug at the track and a very strange one. If a car is pit-headed (player or cc), it starts pulling left just after turn 13, and it goes to gravel (it's gravel now ). It is possible to get the car back to track without any damage. Then, when the car enter the first sectors of pitlane (when it turns left), it doesn't brake and goes directly into main straight. Anyone hasby Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Nice one! Now I'm thinking if someone could update the layouts of Barcelona, Hungaroring and Suzuka, they all have small changes like that.by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Well I thought they could be useful for shaping at least... but if you say so...by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Here more than 1,300 pictures, you've got to find at least one usefulby Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
What? Already? I was just getting used to 15.8... I'll still have some time to play with it before someone sends me this new one Thanks Lo2k for making 3DEditor better and better!by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Unfortunately I have not worked on the track since I posted the video. I have been very busy with university these last days and this will continue until the end of November (at least one exam each week! Ouch! ) But I'll try to continue it as soon as I have a spare time. As for Laguna, he's working on the pit buildings. And yes, we plan to do older versions as soon as we finish the &by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4

I had this ESC problem at qualify when I modified my anim.wad file, try restoring yours to original one to see if it fixes.by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4

One thing: Failure Probability for the last five teams are wrong... these are original GP4 values... I'm trying to find the ones I've calculated to correct them. Thanks for the tip I found these bhp values searching the net, they may be wrong. But tweaking engines down is not a problem... for every 10 bhp less on the engine, I just need to add 103 points to driver ability and the overall performance stays the same... I'll look at it later, now the China GP qualify has ended I need to sleep... but I think you wouldn't mind taking a look at GP3,by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
So here it is, I spent the last two hours working on it. I still need to do more races to see if the results are accurate enough. For the tyres: 0 is Bridgestone, 1 is Goodyear. ** GP3edit - Performance File ** Name=williams, mecachrome Performance=750,750,2848 First Driver=1,jacques villeneuve,15860,456,15729,385 Second Driver=2,heinz-harald frentzen,15701,525,15664,271 Name=ferraby Prblanco - Grand Prix 4

I don't know anything about shaping but... if you need a full season performance file I can do it. Unless you intend to use GP3 original valuesby Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
If for some reason you can't enter the site (I can't ) I can mail it to you.by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Use Lo2k's 3DEditor. Open the shanghai's .dat file (s1ct06.dat I think) with 3DEditor, select File > Import > Import CC-Line. Choose the file that contains the new cc-line, the program will display "CC-Line has been imported". Save and it's done!by Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
Thanks guys The track was smoothed using 3DEditor's Track Profiler along with an instrument called "lookometer" Before Lo2k inserted this feature I used to insert all Z coordinates manually at Excel and make a graph from them... a hell of a work. You may have also noticed that most elevations are not as big as they were in the first layout, I reduced them after looking severalby Prblanco - Grand Prix 4
