One thing I've noticed from watching AI-only races is that in qualifying, the drivers always come out in the same order. Is there a way to change this order, or to make it random instead of the same every time? Thanks in advance.by kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4

AYRTON SENNA WINS SAN MARINO GRAND PRIX McLaren's Ayrton Senna has won a rain-affected San Marino GP, taking the championship lead after none of the top 3 drivers scored points. Graham Hill - driving for Lotus - finished less than 4 seconds behind the Brazilian for a creditable 2nd place, but in truth there was rarely any doubt over who would win the race, with Senna controlling the paby kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4

SENNA TAKES RAIN-AFFECTED POLE AS SCHUMACHER AND FANGIO STRUGGLE AT IMOLA Ayrton Senna has claimed pole position for the San Marino Grand Prix, 22 years after he was killed during an accident at the Imola circuit. Rain played its part in the qualifying session for the second time in two races, and provided a mixed grid, with neither Ferrari nor Mercedes able to make the top 10. ASCARI WINS GERMAN GP AFTER LAST LAP DRAMA Alberto Ascari snatched victory at the German Grand Prix after Ferrari team mate Michael Schumacher ran out of fuel on the final lap of the race. Ascari himself also ran out of fuel, but was able to coast over the finish line to claim an unlikely victory after Schumacher had dominated the entire weekend. SCHUMACHER TAKES DOMINANT POLE IN WET HOCKENHEIM Michael Schumacher secured his second pole in two races with a blistering lap in tricky conditions at the Hockenheim circuit in Germany. On his home track, in his favoured wet conditions, and with a determination to put the Belgian GP behind him - a race he should have won but for a spin on lap 5 - Schumacher drove a faultless lap during hisby kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4
NUMBER OF QUALIFYING LAPS INCREASES TO 9 The number of laps each driver is allowed to run during the qualifying session is to increase to nine, with immediate effect. The number of cars permitted on track at any given time will also increase, from nine to eleven. Last week, at the season-opening Belgian Grand Prix, drivers were allowed six laps - effectively two runs each - resulting inby kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4
If you have several mods installed then it would be wise to keep an untouched backup copy of the game. If you want to play it without the mods, simply play your backup version instead.by kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4
I'm expecting the likes of Schumacher, Fangio and Prost (who was 5th when he crashed) to be near the front more often than not, but there are enough signs already that everything won't adhere to the form book, which is encouraging. Also bear in mind the relegation battle that will start shaping up as the season progresses, something not previously seen in F1. The fights at the backby kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4
FANGIO TAKES MAIDEN LEGEND'S TROPHY VICTORY Juan-Manuel Fangio has won the first ever Legend's Trophy Grand Prix, after a spin from Michael Schumacher cost the German the win at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Lewis Hamilton took a superb 3rd place, recovering from 12th on the grid, with Sebastien Vettel 4th and Graham Hill finishing 5th for Lotus. Have you tried installing Direct X 8 anyway? I know that doesn't sound right but I've had issues with old games in the past not recognising newer versions of Direct X but when I installed the version it suggested - whilst still keeping the newer version in tact - it worked fine.by kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4

SCHUMACHER ON POLE FOR INAUGURAL LEGEND'S TROPHY GRAND PRIX Michael Schumacher has put his Ferrari on pole for the first ever Legend's Trophy Grand Prix, at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. The German pulled out two stunning laps, with only two drivers able to get within one second of the seven-times World Champion's time. Completely forgot about changing the CPU to 0, after looking at all the other, much less obvious possibilities. D'oh! Just ran the qualifying session again with the new setting and it didn't crash, fingers crossed that's the problem now solved.by kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4
So I'm trying to get my Legend's Trophy off the ground, and after six failed attempts to run the quali session at Spa, I'm tearing my hair out. Every time the game just crashes randomly at some point during the session, and I'm not knowledgeable enough to decipher the Gpxpatch log. I've heard that my Realtek sound card can cause problems so I disabled it, but that'by kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4
I've tried on both and had far less problems using Windows 10. With Windows 7 I had to tweak various settings and run in compatibility modes but on Windows 10, all I needed to do was set it to run as an administrator and it worked fine. To test out my image hosting/sharing skills, and to give you guys a sneak preview of the grid, here's a screenshot I took at the start of a test race in Jerez: Qualifying for the first round proper should take place within the next few days. I will not be trying to stick to a specific schedule with regards to when I run the sessions as I have a busy and irregular lifestyle, insteadby kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4

OFFICIAL SEASON 1 CALENDAR The 17-race calendar for the first season of the Legend's Trophy has been released. It starts with a race around the iconic Spa-Francorchamps track in Belguim and ends at Suzuka, a track where several Driver's World Championships have been decided over the years. Just a brief update to let you guys know that my preperations for the championship are nearly finished, however I'm having some issues with a few of the tracks not working properly, which need sorting out before I can release the final calendar and then begin the championship itself. I can also confirm that I have decided to use the same top-10 scoring system that is used in actual F1 raby kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4

Hello fellow F1 fans, I am, for the time being, the token new guy. Having played all the recent Codemasters offerings (except F1 2014), I've decided to go back to the old school GP4. Why? Because I'm not interested in trying to manage my tyres, and fuel levels, and ERS, and all the other bits and bobs during a race, I just want to go as quickly as I can round a track, overtaking as manyby kingdeuce86 - Grand Prix 4
