waitwaitwait, rain in Abu Dhabi? :O Quite honestly the worst sprint race I would have hoped for for Alex, as this game keeps finding ways to screw me over..by miki2000milos - Grand Prix 3
Oh lol, that was quick! Definetly a very good race for my usual Donington standards it seems, even though we didn't win, I'll take that for a rain-affected race with boost!by miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4
ooh!! Very good to see us second there :D Despite the rain, a good thing that we boosted (so far)!by miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4

Not enough money to have experience in that, so no clue :P But it should I guess.. I think you could even play GP4 right now, your build is better than mine overall and it runs fine for me.by miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4
oh really? I could've sworn that the first gen i-series processors were ddr2, seemingly I was wrong then. Alright then, the ram upgrade should be very cheap for you then. You could get away with a single 2GB stick to add to your fourth, free mobo slot, but I'm not sure how that would work, I think it needs to be the same speed as the other 3. Unfortunately, this is where my knowledge enby miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4
actually, back on the RAM thing. You're gonna need to see how much RAM slots your motherboard has. If it has 4 slots, you're saved - as 2GB DDR2 RAM is much cheaper on ebay than it is here. If it has 2 slots though, that's a bit of a problem.. as 2x4GB is terribly overpriced for Intel boards, at which point, replacing the whole thing makes more sense. If it has just one slot, thenby miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4
To answer the questions, one by one. DDR2/DDR is basically where this little gap is located Apart from that, the newer RAM memories are faster. Not that it matters bar a few FPS in games though.. Currently, DDR4 is the latest, while DDR3 is still the most used, but DDR4 will slowly start taking over. I'm not sure what the take on DDR2 is, but I don't think those are still in prby miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4

Oh nonono, not at all. If you meant why I used the quote of that song lyrics, I wanted to signify that the teams that started at the top have it very easy in the next season too. In fact,by miki2000milos - Grand Prix 3
The problem with RAM is that it's DDR2 - it won't be easy to find more than 6GB of that, and if you do, it'll be terribly overpriced. You'll have to deal with 6 for the time being, and I'm confident the game will work just fine. The minimum requirement is 4GB RAM, so F1 2016 will still work. Besides, the GPU is really weak and I feel like that's the thing that needsby miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4
Alonso had pace!! Benetton relegated!! Leggo Ferrari seat :Dby miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4
Ugh, DDR2. I think even though the CPU/RAM and assuming motherboard too are very, very outdated, they'll hold on decently for the time being. Most games nowadays are more graphics-intencive, and the GPU is very weak, even weaker than mine which says a lot xD So yeah, I think you need a new GPU. How much are you willing to spend on the upgrade? (also, windows 10 definetly improved my gby miki2000milos - Grand Prix 4

What happened to Santivale in the first race? Exactly as it said in that 2nd song when Vimal got passed - "success was too easy for you" - I feel like I'm not getting rewarded at all for my efforts. Even though we scored some points in the full race I think (let's be real, only cos it was raining), there needs to be more opportunities for backmarker teams like us to closeby miki2000milos - Grand Prix 3
