Fantastic Arnaud! Been meaning to try Keyshot for a while now myself. WIP internal steering wheel for my mod, using the displays from Duffer's RB11 wheel until I make my own. Full-Size - Animationby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Did you mean 'karts' as in go-karts, or the CART series? I don't know of any go-kart mod, but this page on GP4DB has a CART mod.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Awesome, I was wondering how long it would be before we started to see this appear on other cars. Another interesting way to use this trick might be for sparks from under the car; Brake hard enough, and get sparks from under the front of the car as the skid block scrapes the ground.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Got no idea myself, but this is probably the longest it's ever been down. Try downloading the game from Old-Games.com. You'll then need the 1.02 Patch, followed by the 1.02 No-CD. After that is when you'll need to download GPxPatch etc.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Seeing as we're talking about poly-count, thought I'd chime in with some info. I'm currently converting a go-kart for using in GP4 and, at the moment, it has 75,384 faces. I had to spread it over 2 scenes in GP4 Builder because of the per-scene face limits. ('Cockpit' object - 37,706 faces - in Scene 2, other objects in Scene 1) It works fine in-game (though Iby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
If you swap the .exe, how does that affect .cap patches? Are they applied at the end, after all the files have been swapped?by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Awesome, looking forward to playing this over the weekend! I like that backfire effect, very interesting.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Nice work Macca, love that Jag especially. Did anybody say "GO-KARTS!"? .......No....oh....well here is a go-kartby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Sauber C20 livery on the SMD-ZG02LN - Full-Size I'll hopefully be posting this one for download in a day or two.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Not a soccer person myself, but I think this could turn out to be a great idea.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
What do you think of this? - Download That just has the driver1_1.tex in it - You'll need Jvinu's model (the one in Excalibur's pack) and the other textures. Album of renders.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Set some lighting up for this one, and worked out the right materials to use. Big thanks to Excalibur for the MP4-31. A friend of mine works for EcoLab, and I think their white/blue combination looks really nice as a simple colour scheme. Not quite happy with a few little things, but I think I'll have the kinks worked out for the next one; My favourite livery from 2001. Full-Sizeby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Made a start. Have you got a picture or a pattern that you'd like on the top of the helmet?by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
I don't know of any. If you can show me where I can find an Arai 6 helmet (and a template for it), I might try and paint one for you.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Hi all, looking forward to having some fun, and a big thank you to Maikel for accepting my application.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
As Foreverk says, disable your Anti-Virus before installing ZaZ tools. Once you've installed ZaZ tools, tell your Anti-Virus to exclude the folder where you installed ZaZ tools. Anti-Virus software hates CSM. And, in future, don't download random .dll files off of the Internet, it can be bad for you.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Not 100% sure yet. First I have to decide if I want pre-2011 (bumpy) or post-2011 (smooth). Then I guess it'll be a matter of which year I can find the most pictures of, for signage and stuff.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Queensland Raceway - WIP 'The Paperclip', located in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia is a short (3.12 kilometres) six corner circuit that plays host to a round of the Australian V8 Supercar championship, as well as Superbikes, drifting events and club and track days. The lack of elevation provides a great viewing experience for crowds, with the entire circuit visible from any vantageby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Thanks for checking it out. I think, from the sounds of things, Gimpshop would be best for someone who has already used Photoshop before and wants to change to something free. GIMP is better for a true beginner I think, and it can also work with all the formats we need. (Though layer groups get collapsed when you export to .psd, which is annoying)by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
Another vote for GIMP from me, much easier for a beginner to learn than Photoshop I believe. And you don't have to flip and mirror when exporting; If you need to do that, Slimtex and similar allow you to do so when converting to .tex for using in-game. @Excalibur; Thanks for that link to Gimpshop, certainly looks interesting. However, it seems that it wants to install it's own downby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Download links are now fixed (Turns out that OneDrive just doesn't like .7z archives) Also added Google Drive links in case I run into traffic issues.by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
I hate it when it does that. I'll find a different place to upload it tomorrow. I did a quick Google search, and apparently (I haven't tried it) you can do this to fix it (copy and paste, so sorry about the formatting): You need to go to registry editor by pressing windows+R together, Type "Regedit"and press enter to open registry editor. Version 1.2 available in first post. Trackpack also now available by itself. 24th May, 2016 - Version 1.2 ------------------------------ Changes: * Updated 1000 BHP, 15000 RPM Physics & Torque - Greatly reduced the possibility of 'Clutch Slippage' - See information below * Replaced 1200 BHP with 855 BHP - Created appropriate Torque, Physics (15k and 18k RPM) & Peby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4

Progress report: * Just about finished Magic Data for 1000 BHP @ 15000 RPM * Decided on an 855 BHP replacement for the 1200 BHP set - Physics still in-line with previous sets (i.e higher mechanical grip) - Generally gives lap-times that fall about halfway between the 1000 BHP sets and the vanilla game - All things considered, I actually find this more fun than the 1000 BHP sets *by AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
I agree with Mortal's assessment here. Your best bet, I think, would be to try and find a piece of software that can combine your multiple 'physical' controllers into one 'logical' controller. (I think those are the right terms) * 'Xpadder' might be able to do it, but I think that will only give you digital controls (button presses) at the end, and no anby AUS_Doug - Grand Prix 4
I haven't got any links available at the moment, but a good tip is to add 'png' or 'svg' to your Google search. For example, if I do a search for 'Red Bull logo' (without the quotes), the first Google Image result is one with a non-transparent background.
