Aha of course, bit of a dumb moment from me there, my apologies :s Ah, I see. So if a mode was made solely for GP4 then it would be much easier, would it not?by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Yeahh it's the classic arcade/realism argument... The tower is easier to see everyone, but isn't really shown in the race..! Few more points René: 1. The yellow "PIT ->" is technically part of Digital 2010 isn't it? Would it be possible to move it to the other side of the screen, as the tower covers it... Yeah as SDI said, just open the images in Paint.net or Gimp, see what it was, what it should be, paint over it and save it as a .tga again And if you like how it turned out, release it! :Pby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to have more realistic qualifying. I don't mean the knock-out style, I just mean spacing the cars so they go out at random points. Because the GP4 default is to have a group go out, do a lap, and come back in, (The track is now empty) before the next group go out. Would it be possible to space them out randomly? :/by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
foxtrot1985 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Potentially tempted - what about car setups? > Track dependant presets on GP4 or our own?? I think track dependant would be a lot easier to control, plus if some people don't know how to edit set-ups or something, it's kind of an unfair advantage, not driver skill..!by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

AWESOME!!! Great work rené!! :D Just a couple of points from initial tests 1. When the drivers' names are capitalised, the character 'é' remains lowercase, and so I imagine do all other accented letters; 2. Capitals in team names ignored, for example if you had 'RBR' it would show up as 'Rbr'; 3. No three_letter_codes.ini, or am I just being silly? 4. Inby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Sounds good Would that mean the program could mix the two? As in, if it wasn't found in the .ini then use generic? That way you could use the .ini for exceptions onlyby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

What about having the option in GPxPatch to choose between default and a custom three_letter_codes.ini?by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
Anyone know how to fix a car that should show up like this: But instead shows up like this: I get that it's to do with the mapping, but I used a template and just painted over it, nothing else was changed at all :/ What I did was: - Painted as a .psd on Gimp; - Exported as a .tga; - Used TexResizer to load the previous tex, load my tga, downsampled and saved. Any ideasby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

I'd be interested...! I would say manual braking though, if possible Also maybe traction control optional? I find the fastest lap time is by turning traction control off from about 2nd/3rd gear, it acts like a kers boost, any lower than that and you get too much wheelspin I'm not too bothered about that though, I make more mistakes by doing it too Would you manage this league/series?by spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
I can't see how that format would work, unless the names are identical to the perf file? P.s. Hulkenberg is spelt wrong! Surely unless it's spelt wrong in the perf file it won't be picked up..? o.Oby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4

Nope, none at all One thing I did think of though, when the order comes up on the left hand side, usually it shows the first 3 initials of the drivers surname, but in some cases there are exceptions to this. (For example, Montoya was always MOY) Would there be any way to make these customisable..? Just something to think aboutby spencer4242 - Grand Prix 4
