I am really enjoying this version of Interlagos, much more challenging than the newer 1 min 20 sec track. The track does seem very touchy when a wheel rolls up over a curb going into a turn (and thus causing a spin) compared to other tracks. Does anyone know of a magic data setting to improve this? Also, the early AI attrition rate is high. Has anyone experienced this and adjusted the numbers accby AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4

What you have should run GP4 OK. Think about an SSD HD.by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
How do you install/setup this fix?by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Any new or updated tracks for GP4 are great. Running on a small oval or near oval (i.e. the Brazilian "Roval" or Norisring) can be quite fun as a lot happens all at once and you have to stay alert.by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
I setup the old Long Beach using ZAZ Tools, which allows us to tweak the MG data in a fair amount of detail. Using to the TSM in ZAZ to setup and install the track in any slot should not give you these type of behavior issues.by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Can't wait to see Dallas and you two's version of Jacarepagua.by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Just setup and ran the track for the first time. You did a fine job on it! Is this track real or a fictitious layout?by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Is there a link to the whole track?by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
That would be cool if someone finished it! Thanks for the update, Huskyman!by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Jorge Curanti put out a "beta" version along with Brands Hatch and the vintage Long beach. I'm not sure if part or all of his Zolder is the same as the Landex version but if you haven't tried them they are all great tracks.by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Is this stuff available on mediafire? Is the St Pete track complete (with all the trackside scenery, stands, fans, etc?)by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 3
Just saw F3 race on TV there, looks like a great track for GP4.by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Never happen. In the glory days of the sport - the 1960s - the best F1 drivers, Clark, Hill, Stewart, Rindt, Gurney, would go out of their way to compete at Indy because of the immense prestige and MONEY of the event. These men in today's world would make so much money and be so restricted by contractual obligations, they wouldn't do it. The 500 may still be the world's largest spoby AustinF1 - F1
Mario Andretti has mentioned Lauda as one of the toughest competitors he ever raced against. Given the Who's Who of racing legend that would be on that list, that is a very high regard.by AustinF1 - F1

I was checking out the Indycar Grand Prix this weekend and noticed they has updated the circuit substantially. I wondered if anyone was working on that?by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
So, you're the one who made that 1989 Phoenix track? I really like that layout and if you have improved it, I would like to try the new files if you have them. I noticed the shadows under the cars didn't display quite right on that one. Is that what you are referring to?by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Noog, you know I hadn't noticed but there are two versions of the former Detroit street circuit, one I have by Jim Bob and the other as part of the 1988 Track Pack by plodekk, cleberpister. The first is slightly different in that the main sponsor graphics are Mobil 1 while the one in Trackpack is EniChem. Anyway, the Trackpack version runs much smoother although I like the graphic look of thby AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
Did you ever resolve this?by AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
I have just added a nVideo 1050 board to my PC (I5 3.1/8 Ram/Win 7 64). Now, when I run the Detroit street circuit created by Jim Bob awhile back the game is sluggish overall and particularly noticeable on a few turns and also the controls are not responsive and hesitate. So far, it works very well on the other tracks I've run. I have tried to scale back the graphics settings and even deleteby AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4

Rene, I have upgraded from Xp to Win 7 and have been having issues, i.e. game hesitations, crashes, 100% CPUs, ect. My question regards the core setting in GPxPatch. As I understand it, GP4 always runs on a single core, so should I set that at "0" or "all" and/or what does that do? What, if any benefit would I get from an I5 Quad Core 3.1 Ghz on Win 7 with 8 Gig Ram over myby AustinF1 - Grand Prix 4
