If I didn't have enough respect and admiration for all of you track modders I have it now after unsuccessfully trying to build Sebring track - I quit! Following the trackbuilding tutorial I was only able to produce thre track layout, the pitlane and CC-line but that's it so far - the cars follow the unvisible track but they are flying in the air... I figure I'll better proceedby huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks for answering! Meanwhile I reproduced all the lost data and the problem didn't occur a second time... Actually my own fault not to save from time to time...by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
as I'm currently trying to build the Sebring track from scratch (this is my first attempt to build a track...) GP4 Builder tells me in the track flag list that I have produced two errors: 'ERROR Sector 0 (86) Sector is far from track sector with 86 cmd', 'ERROR Sector 0 (86) Directon is different from track direction' How to correct this?by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Just trying to add the pitlane to my Sebring track (WIP) GP4Builder got stuck with the following message 'Violation d'access a l'adresse 0067DD35 dans le module 'GP4 Builder 2017B.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 04FFEF74' and I lost the complete work done so far... What kind of incorrect operation could have been my fault?by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
This is one of the results of my converting efforts - a BMW V12 LMR in his testcar livery of 1998... textures of the race cars of 1999 (Le Mans) and 2000 (ALMS) may follow once in a while Presently I'm trying to build the Sebring track from scratch, using the great tutorial 'How to build a track in 60 minutes' admittedly consuming more than a days work so far, haha... Actuaby huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
SOLVED! Sorry, there was a problem in the texture itself - my fault... Many thanks again for your helpful handby huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
So I tried it out and it worked only partial: I wonder how you solved the problem, that the textures don't fit anymore... Can I shrink them somehow in the same relation as I did with the 3ds...?by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Merci beaucoup, Excalibur I'll try it out soon...by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Hi to all modders Has anyone an idea how to reduce the number of vertices in a 3D-file. I'd like to convert a very nice car but it crashes the game because it is modelled so acurate that the number of vertices is above the limit of GP4. I did a night long research on this topic but was not successful... Is there an available tool or a function in one of the tools we already use?by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
after a few laps I can only say INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much, Ariel!by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
SOLVED!!! I had set the compatibility mode to Win7 and ran it as Administrator - both settings were wrong i. e. unnecessary...by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
unfortunately not The odd thing is, that the Viewer function still works...?by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
For unknown reasons so far Lo2k's Slimtex (ZAZ-tools) doesn't allow to import files anymore... I have no idea what I did to provoke that resp. what I could do to make it work again - it worked fine all time...???by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
nice and useful tool thanks a lotby huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks a lot, Ariel... could you please send me Yukon track!by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
no wonder considering your wonderful modby huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
I'm using DDS Converter (www.ddsconverter.com) and it works fine...by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Apparently this is one of the days when stupidity darkens older people`s brains ... I heard it occurs more often the older you get...). You tell me 'Then you can compress those folders to a cuh file' but you don't tell me with what tool, operation, command, function or whatsoever...!?by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Ariel, my dear friend, I'm afraid you overestimate my capabilities Looking at he mods, I see a *.cuh-file which is converted into all the sorts of files, the mod needs to work, by ZAZ-tools CSM (install-function). But how goes the reverse operation - convert all those files back into a *.cuh-file, hm?by huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
Back from wonderful holidays in southern Italy (Puglia) I put my hands on the Le Mans winning TWR (Porsche) WSC-95 and converted a Chrysler Viper raced at Le Mans 96 by Canaska Southwind. I`m willing to share these cars like I did in the past but I want to have some control, who is using my cars... So anyone interested just let me know and I will provide the pictures and files... As I learnedby huskyman49 - Grand Prix 4
