@phantaman I have installed both my GP4 & ZaZ Tools in my D:\ drive. These are the paths; D:\ZaZ GP4 Tools D:\Infogrames\Grand Prix 4 On a side note my GP4_patch v9.6 is installed here ->>> D:\Infogrames\GP4_patch v9.6 Is this correct to have the following subfolders in this way, that is;by pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@EricMoinet can u please explain clearer ??? did not understand your Quotebut did you set the path to GP4.exe into CSM ? can u pls explain how I need to do this or to check if path is to GP4.exe into CSM thanksby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@EricMoinet Yes "auto updater" is unchecked/not selected...... Basically one concludes that ZaZ Tools installed correctly!by pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@NickJW I did run it as administrator and compability mode set to windows xp sp2 or sp3, but STILL UNSUCCESSFULby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
I tried everything from scratch all over again. Un-installed everything. Cleaned my registry (I think) using CCleaner. Installed everything all over again. GP4 default, as installed from CD runs well together with 1- GP4_patch v9.6 , 2- gp4exe102 , 3- inst-gpxpatch393. So up to this point GP runs normally. I installed ZaZ GP4 Tools successfully. Disable DEP in Windows 7 64 biby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@JohnMaverick Thank you for your post. I installed the 'decrypted exe' by simply copy-pasting a fresh exe into the main folder, overriding the old one, exactly like you expected me to do it. Still this is when not only GP4 could not restore, but now every time I attempted to run GP4 as I normally did, through CSM, now I was getting the "exe error".. I tried restartingby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@Gitanes I THINK I did turn DEP off........... Followed other GP4 link & also Windows link -> Still not solvedby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@kedy89 thanks4yr reply... I always installed this way ->>> CSM by "File -> Install carset/update"by pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@SDI thanks for your reply. As I tried t explain above, after un-installing & trying to re-install everything, CSM 1.26 DOES NOT RESPOND - when trying to install mod. The funny thing is I tried more than 1 mod.... then I tried using TSM to install a trackpack, which funnily enough the installation of trackpack was successful....... but then who needs a trackpack when there is no decenby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
Same Same............... Damn Windows 7 securities & Registry .... Me thinks!!!by pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
@JohnMaverick I tried following your advice but after I installed a fresh, decrypted GP4.exe = kept receiving error with regards to the GP4.exe freshly installed, consequently ruining my wholy installed GP4 & thus having to uninstall everything, & trying to re-install everytin all over again! I nearly managed to instll everything all over again, but now have the same old issue, whiby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
hi, it seems I have a new problem with my GP4, hence the subject of this thread, after I finish racing GP4, the GP4 through CSM is not 'closing' properly, in the sense that normally, after a normal shutdown of the game, GP4 through CSM restores properly. I have Windows 7 64bit, & have AVG as Anti-Virus. I never had this problem with the above mentioned system together withby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4

hi everybody, & again welcome back to ZaZ for clarifying the ZT situation. I have FINALLY solved my problem, with the HELP of ALL - celinho, jorge, mortal, pete-21, phantaman (in alphabetical order)... We are all aware there as ZaZ explained & clarified there was a problem with the FTP which hosted some files. However my problem was not only with the ZaZ files/connection froby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4

phantaman thank you, but unfortunately for me it's like 'Japanese' - I am not so tech savvy........ If you can explain how I can turn the DEP off, perhaps it will be a good start.... Again, I want to insist that even though I am trying to re-install everything all over again, I am still with the SAME PC WITH THE SAME WINDOWS 7 64bit which I had before formatting..... What is V1? pete-21 I did exactly like you advised, installing in a different location, but still NO SUCCESS! However I tried installing everything on my laptop.. Celinho & EricMoinet, thank you for your reply & assistance. I have un-installed everything & RE-INSTALLED (or rather TRIED TO) everything all over again. This is the sequence I followed yesterday, which was upon advice from a GP4 EXPERT. 1-Install Gp4 770mb 2- Install patch 9.6 (patchGP4 5.45MB)) 3- Gp4.exe 1.02 (NO CD) 4 - Run the game and exit saving the setby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
Celinho, THANK YOU for your post. Most probably your post/reply is for THOSE who have had their ZaZ GP4 Tools - CSM/TSM installed ALREADY. I have just completed a PC Format, & you may understand, that I have to RE-INSTALL EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN! My problem is as I explained in other thread ZaZ GP4 Tools INSTALLATION Problem that I cannot continue...... Is there any OTHER WAYby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
hi everybody, it seems I either misunderstood the few who replied to my posts, or else I did not explain myself clear enough, with the consequence that I could have been misunderstood. I have also installed no CD Patch, but due to the problems that I had explained in my original post, I am unable to continue installing my favourite GP4..... IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY, where or HOW I can instby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4

hi guys, I have the SAME problem. I have had to format my PC, & of course install EVERYTIN slowly slowly ALL OVER AGAIN! Of course I cannot NOT install GP4 or even FS9 / FSX as simulators! I have just installed GP4 from CD, & now 'trying' to install GPX Patch 3.93 & proceed with the installation. I have encountered a problem when trying to "run the updaterby pippo46 - Grand Prix 4

So, this is what I did, just before mortal's most recent post, through assistance from Bigbrother; Initially the problem seemed to be with textures of RedBullRacing, so as I was advised I deleted the folder of RedBullRacing. I also deleted Wadcache folder. Then copied a clean cars.wad file into the main GP4 folder. So fingers x'd I run GP4 through CSM (as usual) &......by pippo46 - Grand Prix 4
