Thanks! I´m beggining to understand the coordinates now...by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Guys, another question: For the first time I´m trying to change the onboard camera position on one of the cars of a new CSM mod I´m working on, but the coordinates I see ingame don´t match the ones I find in the tweaker files. How do I translate the coordinates that I see ingame to numbers that Tweaker can recognize? These are the coordinates I have right now. I hope someone can helpby jucksman - Grand Prix 4

Hello, Lo2k. I´m having a weird issue with the new version of gp4 builder... I´m trying to open a helmet shape and the textures aren´t showing - the helmet appears all black, wihtou textures. I tried to rename the textures with no success... Am I doing something wrong?by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Worked like a charm. Thanks, TurboLover: the bump mapping was really the culprit. Turbo Lover Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You must have also a high res tarmacmap texture > inside the wad, please check. Disable bump > mapping.by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Hello Guys. I think my title is self-explanatory: how to I enable the High Resolution Tarmac textures in GP4? Most recent tracks have a high res texture within its wad file, but ingame I only see the ´old´, low resolution texture. I have all my graphics set to High ingame and bump mapping enabled...am I missing something?by jucksman - Grand Prix 4

Guys, My GP4 is working almost 100% perfect now. I´ve solved the high PO issue and most tracks are working fine. However, there are 4 tracks freezing when I go to spectator mode or try to cycle between onboard cameras: - Shochi - Montreal - Singapore - Silverstone * All these are the latest versions available. What can I do to fix that? All other tracks work flawlessly.by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Guys, I've Solved this issue by doing a clean boot of Windows before I play gp4. I had serious slowdown issues but now I have steady 45 fps with 50% PO even at race starts.by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Now I understood, Mortal. Hello, Guys Do you know where I can find a Ferrari external steering wheel from 2014 onwards? All the links I found were dead. Also, If anyone could direct me to a 2015 onwards generic wheel, I´d be very happy. Some files are proving harder to find than I thought... Thanksby jucksman - Grand Prix 4
If anyone´s interested, this is how I solved the high PO problem in my laptop: I simply did a Clean Reboot of windows, turning off all non-microsoft background processes. After the reboot, my FPS went up to 45 and PO dropped to 50 even with full graphics, even in heavier mods. Now I can enjoy GP4 again. Hurray!!by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
It worked! Thanks, Mortal. Is there anything I cai do to speed Up loading times before races? The 2016 mod takes about 40-50s to load races, but the Indycar 2016 takes almost 5 min... mortal Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > It's odd that you haven't struck this before, > asking for the cd is a common problem for laptops > that don'by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
You mean mounting the GP4 disk image, Mortal? mortal Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > If its a laptop without a dvd drive etc. install a > virtual drive.by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Hello, Guys I had a CTD this afernoon using the Indycar mod, and when I tried to restart GP4 the game started asking me for the CD-Rom. I´ve already tried the no-cd rom .exe and the patched .exe, but the problem persists. Does anyone know how to fix that whitout completely reinstalling the game?by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
I´m sorry...how inconsiderate of mine...I forgot you had much more pressing urgencies than a computer game, my friend...by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
I had a CTD and now the game keeps asking for the CD-ROM even with no-cd patch...is there Any solution for that without reinstalling gp4 yet again?by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Rracunis, I´m experiencing a problem with the mod: when I try to begin a session, the track takes forever to load - over 5 min. So far, the Mod that took the longest to load in my notebook is Phantaman´s 2016 mod, wich takes about 40 sec. When the session starts, PO is around 150 and I have very inconsistent fps..in every other recent mod, I have around 30-40 fps with maximum PO of 110 at race sby jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Yes, but it had no effect... Meteoro405 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > You tried whit "open your f1graphics, line 38 > Rotate wheels via textures v2, set it to 0."?by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Rracunis, I'm having the same problem with the tyres, like Pedro's photos...is there a way to fix that?by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
I´ve tried doing that, Phantaman...I set the game exactly like your screen, but I got 18fps in the graphics test... My old laptop had only 256mb ram, and the game ran much faster...I can´t understand what´s happening, because it worked with 60fps with everything on when I first installed the game...by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Lo2K, I did the trick you suggested, but fps were still low. I think I´ve tried pretty much everything...I guess I´ll have to quit GP4 altogether, unfortunately. Even F1 2016 runs much smoother than GP4 in my laptop... It´s a shame, because I really love this game... 24 fps in the vanilla install - antialiasing off. Really far from the 60fps I originally had...by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Also, I selected GP4 and gpxpatch in the Nvidia control panel but it still reverses back to the Intel card when I enter the game...by jucksman - Grand Prix 4
Guys, I´ve unistalled everything and reinstalled the ´Vanilla´ Gp4 from GP4 Central. In the bare game, I get 25fps with some graphics in medium - windows defender, firewall and avira (antivirus) were disabled...It´s playable, but the strangest thing is that when I first installed the game in my new laptop, I had 60fps with everything on maximum settings, even with Gp4 Central´s 2016 Mod instaby jucksman - Grand Prix 4
