I pushed the limit to 19.6km, including pit (4096 segments). I had a few random crashes, but I can't reproduce them anymore. With some extra effort it's possible to push it up further to 8192 segments, but I think the 2.5km limit is more important.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
19km because this is 4096 segments of 16 feet. If needed, I can try to extend to 38km. But I think the limit of 2.5 x 2.5km is more restrictiveby SDI - Grand Prix 4
In most cases these are not attacks targeted specifically by someone, but rather bots crawling the web looking for vulnerable sites to compromize. Anyway, it's a pity it happens. I hope you have a good backup. All running software is up to date?by SDI - Grand Prix 4
The sound buffer is null. So it's a sound problem.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
I can try to release it very soon, but it will lack yellow track zones and the new standings in digital 2010. I'm currently working on extending the track length limit to 19km.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
I'm adding more and more features to 4.11, which are not all finished yet, so I may postpone some for a later version and bring out 4.11 sooner.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
It's a division by zero related to the cc line (length I think).by SDI - Grand Prix 4
If you use GPxTrack properly, the slot you use should not matter. You need to put all the relevant files in the track folder. See the Pau track by addie for how to make use of GPxTrack to be totally slot independent. See also the GPxTrack documentation.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Yes, you can extract the .anm file from anim.wad and put it in the track folder. The name is not important, can be the same as the .wad.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Le Mans? Not for now. And it won't fit in 2.5 x 2.5km.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Just put it there with explorer. No settings needed.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
The .anm will be loaded by gpxtrack 4.x if put along the .DAT file.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
I'm making some progress now. I've managed to extend the number of segments to 2048 (including pit segments). This is just under 10km. Larger will not be possible (for now). It should also work for GP3. Now doing the final tests.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
I know it's the sound because the exception address is in code that references an audio related class. The pointer to this class is invalid. I also see a lot of the same failing references from what appears to be system code to the same invalid pointer (I would need a log with high verbosity to see this). However, those exceptions are caught and ignored. And at the top I see 1 caughtby SDI - Grand Prix 4
Hi, I've taken a look at your panels. I see you have set the area to 1600x900 with the item coordinates within that range. However, the way panels currently work is by always using a 1024x768 (let's call it resolution-independent) area, which is then scaled up to the actual resolution. The area can be limited to some area within (0,0) and (1024,768). I realize this may not be intuby SDI - Grand Prix 4
Not sure if that would be sharp enough.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
SchueyFan Schreef: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is it possible to add the best lap/last lap graphic? Which one?by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Sound problem. Do you have a soundcard? If not, use GPxPatch 4.10.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Well, it's an interesting tool neverthelessby SDI - Grand Prix 4
Thanks. However, the problem is not the 32-bit memory range, but 16/32-bit fixed point calculations, so this tool won't help.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Hi auscain. Trying to extend only one limit at a time is the best approach. So it should stay within the limits of the world/box. And it doesn't need to be driveable, ccline is not needed, etc. But first I want to try if my idea is workable (automatic patching of offsets). I'll let you know when I'm ready. PS: just over 1650 segments is fine too.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
I'm not sure why the ATL 2004 font breaks in higher resolutions.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
No idea about the practice, but it doesn't seem to be a GPxPatch problem. It has something to do with calculating the number of remaining laps. The font problem is not new in 4.10. You should use the Courier font for ATL or some other monospace font that you can find.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Have you tried to upgrade to GP4 1.02 yet?by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Maybe there's some timing problem when starting up. When debugging the timing is slightly changed or something. With some people it only happens in debug mode.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
Does it happen only with GPxPatch debug mode on, or always? GP4 asks for this when it detects that the sound device have changed.by SDI - Grand Prix 4
