Just ran a dozen laps there. Looks AWESOME!!!! Great work, you should be very proud of it!!! I look forward to running my 2011 race on this track in the coming days...... Thanks for the great work on this iconic track!!by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Thanks a million for this! Downloading as i type. Personally, I have always LOVED the "old" layout better, and probably would have done my 2011 race on the "old" 2009 layout. Your work has arrived just in time for the weekend, thanks heaps!!!by shep34 - Grand Prix 4

A tired, and soaking wet Glen Sheppard said after the Suzuka race, the following... "A good grid spot, didn't quite bring the rewards the team was hoping for. We seemed to lack pace all day, and couldn't match it for outright pace with the fastest guys. In the wet, our grip was minimal! Seemed like other cars had greater speed and handling in the wet than us, so holding on for 10tby shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Knowing I didn't have any boost on offer, I always knew Suzuka could be tough this weekend. The performance this weekend wasn't too bad, and at least getting some points helps. My race pace was a bit of a disappointment, but.... with changeable weather, it was a lottery. To get 10th place in that lottery, is okay. Well that sucks. Dominant and in control of the race, then the suspensions breaks on me. Think that is the second suspension failure this season.... Something needs to be reviewed in the TNR manufacturing dept!! A shattered racing driver was seen having a tantrum in the back of the TNR pits, grabbing a few local beers, and wandering off into the forest out along the old circuit, for a bit of a coby shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Wow! I knew i was good, and decent in the wet, but with no boost this weekend, I am stunned to see myself out the front of the pack! Hopefully we can bring it home for the win, or at bare minimum, a good strong finish. And if the track gets wet, hopefully the team make the right tyre choices at the right time!!!by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Totally agree with those supporting John through this whole Hockenheim weekend. A bit of confusion for some, some have gained, others lost. But geez, it is just a game, no need to be all angry about it or getting aggro at John! I actually offered John my services to run the race, but to his credit, he wanted to push on and run the event. Good on him, shows the determination in the guy! And, I aby shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Are you able to post some pictures of what you are talking about? It may help explain a little clearer, just what it is you are doing.... I am thinking there is something being lost in translation?by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Starting 2nd this time! GOLD!!!! Not bad for the team mate either, back in 7th (assuming I am reading the right qual thread) If so, great! Will be tough to hold onto a strong finish, with no team or driver boosts. Just hope to cling onto some points in the end....by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Can't say I won't be upset with a new qualifying session.... can't get much worse than where I was..... Hope your pc woes sort themselves out there soon John. Nothing more annoying than when the good old PC won't do what you want it to do!by shep34 - Grand Prix 4
Re the old vs new Hock layout, and use of boosts, it hasn't bothered me one bit - wasn't planning to use a boost here anyway. So, I really am not fussed one way or another. And my original post re the track being used, I probably did read it, but with life being hectic, guess I quickly moved on from it, knowing I wasn't going to use a boost anyway....LOL No harm done.... Just thought I would post this link. After doing a search of F1 liverys from the past, I came across this great image. BEWARE, it is a HUGE file, and may take a while for slower pc's to load, but it is a great collection of images of every F1 car from 1950 to 2004.... Pretty sure us drivers and mechanics over at TNR are having a chuckle, reading all the disappointment from other teams after Imola. At TNR, we were pleasantly surprised by our performances in the race. Our test drivers Dan and Owen are setting the race drivers up with great information, which is transferring onto good results of late. Go TNR!!!by shep34 - Grand Prix 4

TNR Driver Glen Sheppard post race comments.... "Pretty pleased with a 6th place finish, considering I started back in 17th. I got a bit lucky with guys ahead of me falling off the road, but... I will take it. As for the fastest lap of the race, well that is 3 in a Row for me!!! That proves two things to me : True North Racing has some damn good engines under them, and also I am in good fby shep34 - Grand Prix 4
The second part of the race is on it's way. The delay is deliberate, to allow people to have taken a look and catch up. As Stu said, had he been doing the race, there still would have been a wait. I have a job interview this morning, then when I return triumphantly (??!! fingers crossed), I shall post the 2nd half.... so, within the next 5-6 hours, it will be posted.
