"...FISICELLA why doesnt any big TEAM HIRE THE GUY??..." This is TWIGHLIGHT ZONE !!! All we have asked this some time...by Ali - F1
Why the world champion has to do an impressive championship? We are used to see MS winning with 8,9 or 10 races won, but some year ago that was not the common fact. In the times of Piquet, Mansell, Senna and Prost they shared victories with retirements and the champion was the most regular one, with, perhaps, 75 points. This year has been very balanced, eight drivers with victories, 7 drivers iby Ali - F1
It was a joke, wasn't it? Anyway, I think the pain is already made. Michelin had to change the tyres without time to test and set-up. In Italy it was possible to see the result. Sauber and BAR were better than some teams with Michelin, like Toyota, quite affected. Ferrari was in the pace of Williams and McLaren quite far from them. Renault had other problems. I hope this Michelin affaire wiby Ali - F1
When i first saw GP2 I thought woow! For me was a real discover and besides, little by little were appearing editors and all this stuff... It was simply amazing. GP3, instead, it was expected to be good, to follow everything like GP2 and add something new...and it was, but not that much. I see GP3 as an update of GP2 with better graphics and more realistic car handling (not that much, I would lby Ali - Grand Prix 3
Alonso was about 1 to 1.5 seconds faster than Yoong in 2001, Webber was about 1sec. faster in 2002. So you can expect something similar with MS, about 1.5 seconds faster in the same very car than Yoong. Then Yoong with Ferrari would be faster than both. 1. Yoong 2. Fisichella 3. MSby Ali - F1
In few days I will post a version of Monaco 2003. Hungary is in process but not France, I don't know anyone working on it.by Ali - Grand Prix 3
Well, after the great news about Bahrein GP3 track, I decided to make one step more and I already have the layout of Shangai, the CC-line will take about a week because the track has very twity parts. I love the layout!! none will complain about overtaking posibilities because the rear straight is enormous, very very long. The scenery (as i said before) is not one of my strength as perhaps is tby Ali - Grand Prix 3
I don't know guys...!! I only think that thanks to Alonso, Kimi and I hope Webber (maybe) and perhaps Montoya there's life after Schumacher, and all F1 fans should apreciate that!!by Ali - F1
Alonso does not have the same car than Kimi to overtake. With Mercedes engine is easier than with Renault. Anyway, Alonso was the leader of overtaking (number of times) at half season after Australia, Brasil, Silverstone I think (ask Ralf Schumacher). I think that he is very young to judge if he is the future world champion, but what can't denied is that he is following the right way and heby Ali - F1
I think that here there is a few possibilities, or most of us are mistaken or kpiotrow... 1. I am sorry to tell you but I don't think it is by luck that Alonso has 55 points and Trulli 24... One race perhaps, but full championship? 2. Alonso: 2 poles, 1 win, 1 fast lap vs. Trulli.... 3. Has he a good car? right, of course. But what then we must think?, that he should be the championshipby Ali - F1
Has anyone this editor? (it's about 400Kb). All links that I've found are broken and I need it....!!! Please, if you don't mind, can you send it to me to cescjulb@racclub.net Thanks!by Ali - Grand Prix 3
Hi, I've seen that the pic you showed it was based in the previous design of Bahrein, the changes that you have made are according to the new design? I saw this here:by Ali - Grand Prix 3
In this site (http://www.grandprixgames.org/?page=download&type=viewcat&t_id=34&pt_id=3), ( this one, in fact), you will find the file already decrypted, you just have to download the file "Decrypted GP3 V 1.13 No CD Patch " and copy it in the GP3 directory. Steps: 1. Download the version 1.13 update of GP3 that you will find in this site without problem. search by : &quoby Ali - Grand Prix 3
I don't understand Intalian, but I think you mean that GP3Edit asks you to locate the GP3.exe file in your computer. You must locate the file GP3.exe in your GP3 directory, but it must be decripted!!! 1. Tray to get the Gp3 v.1.13 (in this very site you'll find it) 2. Download the gp3.exe v.1.13 decrypted (it is crucial) and launch GP3Edit once you copied that file in the same directorby Ali - Grand Prix 3
Ei ArexonsF1!, I see that you are quite good working in track editing (aren't you) . As I said in another topic, I am working in Hungaroring 2003. Tha layout is already made, but I would like to receive some help from someone who knows how to use scenery comands. The Layout, CC-line, kerbs and this stuff are quite advanced so I would like a revision to make it as real as possible. In fact,by Ali - Grand Prix 3
Well, good news... ( I hope) I have made the modifications in Monaco myself, I think they are quite good. I will like to improve the CC-line, but only small changes. And now I am working in Hungaroring. The layout is already made, I'm now working on the kerbs and I will work hard on the CC-line, because i want to do it right (using kerbs, etc). I think they will be made for the next week andby Ali - Grand Prix 3
Hard day for Alonso. Tomorrow will be difficult, not only for the position on the grid but because in the very start he will get some places (Renault is the best in that matter) but then he will meet with the first chicane with several in front and some behind... Take care with Trulli who doesn't handle those situations very well and can be an important "judge" in that first chicanby Ali - F1
I think Gene will not disturb Montoya (that's obvious) but I don't think that Frank in really thinking about team orders. Anyway, great job by Marc who drove quite fast and "clean" with almost no time to set-up the car (and maybe himself to the grandprix atmosphere). I hope he will be in USA and Japan again. He deserves such an opportunity after three years working with themby Ali - F1
"...Did Alonso just come out and say this or did someone go up to him and stick a recorder under his nose and say Fernando, what do you think about this tyre thing? and he replies..." Absolutely agree, i'm sure that all drivers in the paddock have said something about tyres but Alonso is the driver of the moment in F1 and the media give more importance to what he says. It is absurby Ali - F1
I am very surprised about the "dislike" of Fernando Alonso, did you hear someting strange or did he behaves in an arrogant way (more than the other drivers...). I have a great respect for talent and it is ridiculous to read your words. I am sorry to tell that Alonso will probably win more races, not this year but in a near future. I can't understand that some people still want theby Ali - F1
Well, I'll join to you in predictions and I think that Williams will win in Monza. Ferrari will not be as slow as in Hungary but I simply think that will not be enough. Renault will be again after the big three. In Indianapolis Williams will be again the one to beat. Renault could do it well in the infield and loss the advantage in the straight. Schumacher is usually strong in Indianapolisby Ali - F1
"...i felt pretty angry when I saw Alonso jumping in the podio like MS" What does that mean????!!!!!! Are we complaining about talent??? They are two different guys. Personally I am happy to see that there's life after MS. F1 needed ultra-talented drivers and hopefully Alonso will led a new generation with Kimi and perhaps Webber and Montoya... That's very good for F1 and weby Ali - F1
I don't think Kimi was faster than Alonso, without Webber the fight would have been harder but do not underestimate Alonso, what an error!!! Webber was sixth an not that far!!!!! Alonso was keeping his car and mechanics since the first pit stop because about 20 seconds of difference. We have to recognize that today Alonso was probably the fastest guy on track, followed close by both Williaby Ali - F1
If Alonso is first after the first corner and do not have any mistake or car problem, he will win the race, he always improve on sunday's race so this time he will be quite difficult to follow. I don't think that he is light on fuel, but I do really think that Webber was light in fuel, as he use to (a little), Jaguar always decreases their pace during sunday race (anyway, Webber is oneby Ali - F1
Briatore said that JV would not drive for Renault even paying for it, he consider that Jarno and Alonso are better drivers than him, and I think this is the general impression in the F1 world. It is sad that a driver can only shine with a winner car. I belive that a driver shows what he is capable of when he drives an average car. (Schumacher 1996, Senna 1993 The best season of Ralf was in 1999by Ali - F1
Well, let's see what you think. I saw in a F1 magazine that Ron Dennis is trying to get Alonso, but he will not be "free" until 2005, so he will keep Coulthard one more year. Fisichella was one of the options but he didn't want to have Fisichella one single year if at the end Alonso can join in 2005. Anyway, I don't know how reliable is the source because there has beenby Ali - F1
