Thanks, I'll keep experimenting, because I don't understand what the parameters are, just the effect they seem to have. I don't know what effect 86-88 have either...by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
No problem! I'll keep experimenting and try to see what the other three values above it are.by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
Copied from the magic data thread... Edit / Sorry, Atticus actually discovered this earlier, on page ten of the above thread, I didn't see it! Wet weather solved! I've been testing and creating 1997 physics files, trying to improve the car handling, progressive, saveable tyre slip etc. I'll release what I have done soon, I'm delighted with the results. Sorry, Atticus solved it first, go back to page 10! The only problem with it is that whilst I have to wring the neck of my Arrows to get it off the back row of the grid on Ace (using Peby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
txema, You just have to open the .dat, the option is in there. Select Initial sector- Show magic data, scroll down, it´s 65 AI errors. You reduce the value, 64 in this case, then save your dat. uploadby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
If you look at Soutsen's post, click on initial sector, show magic data, AI errors. You can put a number as low as you want, they will make less errors, and so less accidents..by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
Fabulous work! Do they crash at several places, or just at one corner? You could upload it to mediafire and post the link here...by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Tom! How can I put this.. the physics I use are rather radical, because GP4 for all its plus points (which have kept me playing it consistently 12 years now) does not have particularly good physics or a good tyre model by today´s standards. There are next to no threads on the tyre model, or tyre curve, anywhere. So rather than put in realistic numbers and expect something that feelsby salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4
You might find them here, if you can stomach a 10gb download. It's F1seven's 1970-1981 season bundle. The thread ..by salvasirignano - Grand Prix 4

Alonso won't manage it, it was a little bit arrogant of them to think they could just turn up there and walk it. Their farcical attempt this year was rather amusing.by salvasirignano - F1
