Have you done anything with the patch folder, the tyres and helmet issues are linked and it looks like the cap files in the patch (or possibly the patch.ini file) isn't modifying the gp4.exeby fongu - Grand Prix 4
I don't know what you've changed, but it looks like the helmet shapes are not loading. The mods you're speaking of has a tweak to enable driver specific helmet shapes and what you're seeing are the results of that. Changing your resolution won't affect this, so something else must have changed.by fongu - Grand Prix 4
Incredible, thanks for sharing, and yes again kudos to Enzo for creating such beautiful machines so long ago, so low poly, yet detailed, smooth and fantastic normal work. Thanks Hega for committing to completing this pack of cars, great dedication and amazing results.by fongu - Grand Prix 4

To help me understand what's going on, can you send me two files: 1. the globalvars.ini file (inside the mod folder, and settings and then either basic/advanced - the one that you're using)by fongu - Grand Prix 4
The changes to GPxPatch are meant to give you a fuller log... the part you posted doesn't really say very much. did you make many changes to the csm options for the mod?by fongu - Grand Prix 4
Did you install all four parts? Are you running the basic or advanced version? In GpxPatch, tick 'Start GPx in debug mode' and set verbosity to high. If it's crashing at around 10%, it would suggest something in the cars.wad is not loading properly.by fongu - Grand Prix 4

I found that the helmet naming convention changes slightly if you use it in conjunction with the tyre tweak. If you have GpxPatch error log running with detailed log, then you can see in there what it is trying to load (but not finding). If it manages to load a helmet for the default (for some reason here driver 18), then it will load that driver for every shape it cannot find.by fongu - Grand Prix 4
I've added 19 more helmets to the 2023 helmet pack. Check it out on my blog: https://fongugp4.blogspot.comby fongu - Grand Prix 4
I think it's a personal preference thing. I've only really done karting, and for me, the helmet does not really obscure your view, so I don't like my view blocked too much in games. However they do give you a false sense that you have more peripheral vision sideways than vertically (i.e more widescreen feel). The problem with the camera in the helmet is that you need a really goodby fongu - Grand Prix 4
