Hi there For those who expect a Paul Ricard for next December... Please, wait. Trackmaking takes a lot of time, and for sure people run for their lives So... Work is going on a very good way. Xav85 and I decided that is possible to work with several layout configuration, so he's working on dat files for now. No rush at all. Be sure it's going to de nice at the end. Thisby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Good to know Turbo Lover Any ideas? Cheersby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Thanks Kev... Indeed, I export from Autocad as 3ds. Then I ask a friend of mine - Fongu was this master at Pasargada - to map with proper textures at 3dsmax or Zmodeler. Then it's fine for GP4.by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Hi there. @Ruboy: check your pm This work on psychedelic pictures was made at Autocad 2007. That colourful appeal is due to layers, which are not texturized yet. It will be better ingame with proper material, but so far I judge it was important to show since 3deditor has come to GP4, many software has come to work with track making... To do that land coverage: 1. I exported all DLby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Hi there... As I'm back here goes some new pictures for Dubai progress. Hope you understand the images heheheh Cheers you allby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Sure sure... PrBlanco has done a fantastic job, and also xav85, who's probably the very best dat maker I've ever known. And Lampert is simply one of the masters here, so, great work is about to come. Cheersby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
It will take some time till we understand how important was Mr. Jim to this community. THANK YOU and great choices ahead!by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Hi Alainh31! Great news, please send them to my post as a link. I'm sure they will be pretty useful, mate.by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Hi there... Thanks for help you all... For sure, track is pretty flat, as I see on some xav85's videos... But a track altimetry would be better for realism... I've sent a post to Paul Ricard Administrator... But no response so far... But thank you anyway. Any material will be great for now. Cheersby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Hi Paul Ricard is on the way. We've (me and xav85) have been working at some layout configuration.... Only dat files are ok so far.... But some really important we need: a track altimetry. Or we will have to be based on pictures and onboard laps... If you could find that, it would be great Cheersby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
@ASWinner: Where are you from? Maybe you should export them as .gp4 and then import again. This might help, I guess.by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
@ASWinner: It seems a great effort, mate. Maybe you could explain to us what sort of problems do you got at some track sectors... @Jim: great job as always, mate! Don't give up with this track, as I remember from Toca, it's one of the very best as snetterton, oulton and brands hatch Cheers, and keep your good work you allby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Great idea WillB Congratulationsby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Hi there... Progress is ok, no CTD so far But I'm going to be out for some weeks for exams. Some friends will keep hard working in meantime. Hope you enjoy.by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
@jimbob: from the who???? Hey, come to MSN.by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
@Jimbob: hehehe, I've got it, my friend Anyway, have you got my post?by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
Hi there Some improvements so far... Just testing It's a pity though that Autocad2007 has no longer a 3dsout tool... So For now I got no solution to export to gp4 files... Cause mapping is very easy to make. Probably I've got to learn some 3dsmax for it. Cheers... And thanks for comments.by gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
@Zep: Sure I like it... For me, it´s not a F1 track, indeed, but it´s a very nice track to have funby gildoorf - Grand Prix 4
